I think you kind of asked and answered your own question and answer here.

Ha! Or a twelve-bar blues version of it with a cameo from Harold the dildo.

I think it will be the first time I'll see the Grammys in years.

I’m trying to imagine a scenario where Sheryl Crow is asked to do a tribute to Christine McVie… and she refuses. Wouldn’t that be disrespectful?

I understand that some people, for whatever reason, don’t like Sheryl Crow. But criticizing her for participating in a tribute to a musical icon? That I can’t understand.

There are several folks I would have liked to have seen do a tribute on the Grammys, but I’m honestly just so thankful Christine is going to be recognized that I can’t complain. Bonnie Raitt was a surprise to me. I’m pleased with the selection of Mick, Bonnie, and Sheryl.

Finally, the band has found a way to lure me back.

I think it's beautiful. I hope the music and tribute is too.

I often don't agree with all of your posts but I do this time. As long as Mick doesn't try to demand a bigger payday because he may be going broke..again.

That’s awesome that they’re doing a tribute to Chris on the Grammys.

And I dont know why anyone is talking about the lack of Stevie? If anything I think it’s very appropriate of her to not be involved and let people that are better suited to sing her songs do it, and this tribute can just be about Christine without that “other” female vocalist that was in her band getting even the slightest bit of attention.

Now watch, I say all that and she surprises us all by introducing the performance with a 4 minute intro that has to be cut by the Grammys or something. In that unlikely event I’ll take it back

:
thank you!

why so many people insist to place the attention on the rest of the 5 instead of Christine is really puzzling to me. if you care about Christine and her legacy, which was wrongly in the shadow of the drama queens in the band - why do you want to drag drama queens out to try to upstage her tribute?

Absolutely! I only wonder why Sherly Crowe, why "Songbird" and why Mick if it is "Songbird." I'm thrilled Bonnie is doing it.

I'm hoping it turns out to be a little medley, like they did for Linda Ronstadt at the RRHOF.

Thanks, BombaySapphire3. It’s nice to find common ground with other fans. Makes this board mean a little bit more.
