Yes. People try to trace pirates by making them login to websites after downloading an illegal file. It's very common.

This fraudulent torrent has been up for about two weeks now.

And, its not as much about the IP harvesting, but the ad click-thru's that are supposedly required to get the password.

That said, they aren't even the files of the actual songs themselves- look at the file sizes compared to what we know about how long the songs are.

Yep, I opened up the archive and saw "date modified 11/7/2007" then immediately face palmed myself for being so desperate to hear the new songs.

Honestly I'm surprised that the album hasn't leaked yet. A part of me really wants to, but I guess Lindsey isn't popular enough this time around! Hopefully that will change once they hear "Love Runs Deeper" on the radio!
