Stay tuned....

Or stare at the wall, because that'll do as much good as $tevie's spirit catcher.
That spirit catcher was like a Blair Witch Project structure from the woods of Maryland.

Give me the singing fish over that any time!

Happy Anniversary Day to LBCM too!

$he's an IDIOT any way you look at it.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to LBCM. The finest swan song, ever. The past couple of weeks, I've been watching as many behind the scenes things from BV as I can find. The love was so clear, between the 4 of them...

Aside from her third grade vocabulary she uses when she gives interviews, she has given interviews where things contradict other statements she's made that I don't know if I can trust anything that she says.

Lindsey posted a photo of a piano at The Village Recorder on Friday for the Anniversary; it had my arm hair stand up.

I saw the beautiful photo of the piano. Thank you, Lindsey! That was a really great photo.

I knew it was Lindsey & Stevie singing on it the very first time I heard it on the radio when it was a brand new song. Did you both know also, without a DJ telling you so?

I don't remember when I realized it, but it's so obviously $tevie's voice on there. You know, back when $he could sing.

This week on the Big 80s countdown 1982

Hold Me and After The Glitter Fades almost back to back

#35 After The Glitter Fades
#34 Keep The Fire Burning - REO Speedwagon
#33 with a bullet Hold Me

Summer of 1982. What a great summer and especially for music.

Where did Glitter peak? Did it make top 20?

I dont know but what a year for music. I have not heard Queen's Body Language since 1982. That song is never played anywhere anymore. Rock stations play Queen but would never play that funk song. MTV banned the video in 1982 even though there was no nudity but too much "body language and rolling around" I guess. It was a big hit but you NEVER hear it anywhere. Sort of like Fleetwood Mac's Big Love. Everywhere and Little Lies have adult contemporary roots and those stations are still around and play it. Classic rock stations would never play Big Love or Body Language even on 80s stations. So when you hear them its really something.

One of my all time favorite 80s Tune "When Its Over" by Loverboy was on the charts too. I love that song so much. Its the perfect mix of guitar, keyboards, etc and Reno is one of the best singers ever. Such a powerful song. Hes singing his shock and confusion why this girl keeps going back to this guy that treats her so bad. He keeps telling her when its over come to me. He then tells her its over. But she seems to want to go back to the guy who treats her so bad.
Its pure 80s perfection. If you have the internet option, you can play the 80s countdown anytime you want during the week.
