And they did it after Lindsey left too.

I heard it at the Madison show for the SYW tour and it was lackluster. I can't say I was sorry to see it dropped. But they didn't give it a chance. Also, I think it could have benefitted from an introduction (a short one, Lindsey), talking about the song's origins. I think that would have made the audience more attentive to it.

Of course, Lindsey must not have liked the song, because poor audience response has rarely caused him to take a song out of the setlist. He has a "wear you down" mentality.

I completely agree. I don't have time for them to perform songs they didn't write, no matter how good. Of course, if they'd ask me, I wouldn't have let them perform Farmer's Daughter for The Dance and that was beautiful and that was just the way I wanted the 5 of them to say goodbye, so maybe I should not be the band advisor. Blue Letter! Fireflies would be amazing even if it is along the same lines as The Chain... don't see it happening though, I'd settle for full-band Big Love.

Sisters of the Moon would be great but I agree, one, it seems like it's been completely retired. Two, just about everyone would be comparing it to the 1978-82 versions (in particular the famous Mirage Video version) as soon as the video was posted to Youtube and I fear the 21st century version would greatly pale in comparison unless some major reworking of the song was done. I don't think I could tolerate the background singers oohing and ahhing along to a rocker like Sisters either.

There are a ton of songs they could bring out which haven't been played before or have had a very long sabbatical...
-almost anything off of Buckingham Nicks
-Crystal
-Blue Letter
-I Don't Want to Know
-The Ledge
-Save Me a Place
-Angel
-Sisters of the Moon
-That's Alright
-Book of Love
-Seven Wonders
-Big Love (full band)
-Tango in the Night
-Thrown Down
-Everybody Finds Out
-Steal Your Heart Away
-Bleed to Love Her (which would have been a popular choice for the SYW tour I would have thought....plenty of exposure from The Dance)

I liked Say You Love Me, but I thought they could have done a little better in their choice of "Chris songs"....Oh Daddy, Brown Eyes, Hold Me, Little Lies were four off the top of my head I thought they could have really done something with last year.

I forgot to put these 4 in my list - they would be fantastic! That's Alright would be especially random and would do that great thing of making everyone right at the front go crazy with excitement and surprise while having everyone else looking a bit confused - haha!

Thrown Down just HAS to be done live. It's too good not to!

As for Everybody Finds Out, I remember someone on here (can't think who) suggesting a great idea for it... If they mashed it up with a full band version of Big Love, going into it part way through Big Love and then going back into Big Love just after Stevie's "Don't you know, don;t you knooooow"...the strings would bridge the 2 songs really well!

If I was in charge, they'd do Tango in the Night.

In an ideal world for everyone else, I think Sisters of the Moon would get the most votes.

In the real world, though, Blue Letter is most likely.

in my opinion - I'd like to see them open with I Don't Wanna Know. I think that would BLOW people away. They sing in sync the whole song, which makes it difficult. Aside from it being a great song - it replaced Silver Springs on Rumours and for all these reasons, it has great possibilities. Then into the Chain. The other option is to end the show - with Crystal. I think that would be amazing. Or both!
