Default Live Stevie Nicks

Well - I had WVa over Duke and that did not happen so I decided to throw in Stevie Soundstage in Chicago. It got me thinking of the best live Stevie moments.

Here are some of my favorites.

Edge of Seventeen (Soundstage)
Silver Springs (the Dance)
Ebony Eyes (Cal Jam w/Bob Welch)
Insider (with Tom Petty - Pack up the Plantations)
Sisters of the Moon (Mirage - of course!)
Fall From Grace (Blockbuster Music Awards)

it took me awhile to figure out what you were talking about...haha, but here are mine:

SOTM - Mirage (I Won't Explain it)
Edge of Seventeen - HBO Special (There is something truly haunting about this performance. I think it's because it's the first time she's performing it for a tour and nothing feels 'staged' the Edge Walk is brand new and the way she sings it is breathtaking)
Rhiannon - Rosebud (Again, i don't have to explain it)
Stand Back (From WH Tour in Largo) - When she picks up Elaine and dances with her, it just kills me. How many artists do you know would do that? Oh..and the performance was great as well.
I Need To Know/SDMHA (From Gatorville 2006) - When mama performs with Tom Petty she's ALWAYS her happiest. And if Stevie's happy, i'm happy. That performance is one of my favorites.
The little snippet of FROZEN LOVE from Lindsey's Soundstage - because for that one moment we can trek back to when SnL were just starting out. And it's my favorite song of all time.

it was rather hard to pick favorites, because i think all of Stevie's performances are magical in their own ways!

Rhiannon - GW Forum August 1977 (all four shows)

Or...at the GW Forum on Nov 22, 1976 when she said "hello" to me at the Eric Clapton concert.

I hate to nitpick, but if you are talking about the Forum shows in Los Angeles (actually, Inglewood) at the end of August in 1977, Fleetwood Mac didn't do four shows. They did three shows. I remember them well. I was at all three shows. If there had been a fourth show, I would have been at that one, too.

And you are right. Rhiannon was magnificent at every one of those shows.

I went to one of 'em twice. (that's my story and I'm stickin' to it!)

Angel from the Tusk doc. I think it's St. Louis? This is just the BEST performance of that song!

Also love the Stop Draggin and I Need To Know from Gatorville but they've already been mentioned...

This is my absolute favorite performance for some reason, there is just something about these 4 minutes that I love. I have no idea what city this was though.
