Think I should push my luck and mention about seeing him here as well? Maybe I should keep quiet for a little while! |

If they're in December then there's a chance some could clash with my graduation so I'm just hoping it's the ones I couldn't make it to will be around then. I'm hoping he'll play Belfast (or even Dublin would be good) but I'm not holding out much hope. Belfast does have a couple of nice venues that'd suit him well though. |

Amoscascott, That is some bird you have got there!! How did you hear his??
I will be definately going to all of the Ireland Concerts and as many of the UK ones as I possibly can. This is awsome news. Ill believe it more when I see actual dates though.

Ditto on the Ireland dates, though to be completely honest I doubt there will be any. If/when the dates are announced they'll probably all be on the mainland. Too many artists never make it across the Irish sea, but I can hope!

I am so excited that it's beyond words at this point. I feel bad for accusing him of not caring about his British fans now

I hope he plays a few General Admission shows instead of all seated because they tend to have a more lively atmosphere. |

I don't mind in the slightest what he plays, just as long as Down On Rodeo sneaks onto the playlist. It would be wonderful to hear D.W. Suite but I wouldn't hold my breath. Has he ever performed this live? Or is it just one of those songs every band has (R.E.M.s "Leave", for example) that is confined solely to Tape/CD/Vinyl/Mp3/Whatever..?

Yes Bee!! If Down on Rodeo isn't on there... Not holding my breath for D.W. Suite though it's great, or anything from Go Insane except the title track for that matter. I don't think he's played anything from that album except the title track live ever Which is a shame cause I looove it. Slow Dancing could work acoustically.

If this is the case, Rodeo won't be featured! Of course, what do I know - it could be changed completely! |

This is HUGELY exciting!! However, while I don't doubt the word of the original poster I have learnt over the years to wait until there is an official announcement with dates and sale times etc before getting too excited. This is especially true for artists who rarely/never play the UK. Rest assured I'll be waiting esxcitedly like eveone else for such news though!
I don't suppose the person who started this thread could maybe give a little more info? How/where they heard this etc, just so we have a better idea of how things stand?
