Gurl got bling.

It's like a one-woman bric-a-brac store, ceramic dog doorstoppers and all.

I would love one of her father's watercolors.

I do hope a fan gets some of those handwritten sheets and shares their contents. One looked like it could be the lyric to So Excited. I laughed at the handwritten note "The Ship.. more like The ****!" in the Meantime process notes.

I was shocked to see those copies of Carol Ann's book as well as Ken's Making of Rumours. I wonder if she actually read them!? I'd love to know how those books lined up with her memory.

For me, it's some of those every day things that kinda choked me up more than anything. Duster's dog collar, which I think she had Duster way back in the 70's! The cookbook with the shopping list/notes. That signed Dance poster with the sweet dedications "Christine, where are you! I miss you"

The biggest WTF moment I had was that odd keepsake box that Stevie sent her, along with a locket of hair and scissors!? along with a big fancy calligraphy note. To be a fly on the wall when she opened that package...

The St. Cecilia painting is a true treasure. I see someone already started the bidding at $50,000!

I admit: I am not a fan of a lot of this "bling." The Mackenzie Childs stuff always makes want to vomit, but there are a number of very tasteful things here. She had an eye.

I think she had george and duster when she made In the Meantime. ..no actually i'm correcting myself, that was dougal and george. i guess duster was from the 70s if he had curry's last name!

that signed poster is awesome. i loved all her lyric notations. fascinating stuff.

I think she said somewhere that she did read Ken's books about the making of those albums...wasn't it one of ken's books that inspired her to get back into music, reading all the little details of the recording process etc? i'd bet she muddled through most of those books in the auction. it made me wish she'd written one herself....i mean, if all 5 members wrote books they'd all remember stuff in a slightly different way but i want to KNOWWWWW, such a shame the only one we got a book from is Mick...

If I was a billionaire, I would offer Lindsey a 10 million advance if he would write a book.

This is pretty fascinating, and I hope someone out there is saving all these pictures since I'm guessing this webpage isn't permanent and all this will disappear after the auction is over.

The one that made me a little emotional was the dog pillows with the names of her two dogs. They must have been far more personal and sentimental to her than all the jewelry in the auction. I found this interview from 2004 where she says Dougall and George run her life completely.

Imagine the surprise if Lindsey were perusing this website to see Carol Ann Harris' book among her possessions!!!

Actually, I'm wondering if some of these items weren't actually owned by Christine and they were just thrown in. Would she actually have had a touring wardrobe hamper in her possesion? Sounds like the type of thing that would be in storage for the band as a whole.

There is a photograph of one of Stevie's drawing that is already at $1,000. Not the original drawing. Just a photograph of the drawing. I don't understand how that I something to pay $1,000 for. You could literally just have the picture from the website printed out on high-quality photographic paper and it would not substantively be any different.

I wonder the same. I've been to several country music star's estate sales, since I live in Nashville, and I always wonder, "how do I know their children, OR the Auctioneer!, didn't just throw in their own crap, just to raise the outcome of the auction?" And of course, we'll never know. That's why I really don't want anything without her name on it. No trinkets, no fukcing knick knacks, no jewelry, etc. I'd rather have a BMI piece of paper that has her name on it, so at least I know it was given to her.

In this case it seems the proceeds will go to charity, since I'm sure her estate was in no need of further money-grabbing and was more interested in simply doing a Marie Kondo while also furthering her legacy.

But oh daddy would I love to have one of those Cyril watercolors.

As far as I can tell, the drawing of the dozing dog is the only thing in the auction (aside from writings on paper) actually created by her. It seems like it ought to go for more than a knick knack.

This has been taken down! I also don't see a dog collar for a dog named Duster. Mysterious disappearances!

I'm thinking that only the calligraphy note and angel picture came from Stevie. Stevie wouldn't have sent the other contents of the box. The lock of hair is clearly from one of Christine's dogs. And I'm curious about the folded up newspaper clipping. The text is in Portuguese. Something somehow related to her marriage?

It's a little misleading when they say proceeds go to charity. No doubt that is true but they will not tell you what percent. If all proceeds went to charity, they would proudly claim ALL proceeds go to charity. Do they say that? Mick's auction also mentioned charity but no doubt he profited big time. Her estate is going to make a pretty penny even when the auctioneer and charity are paid their percent.
I would love to know who has her Grammy. Possibly her brother? It just shows what entertainers think of those crap awards like the RRHOF.

On another note, the photo of her and Eddy face to face on her solo tour seems to have vanished. Its no longer available. I suppose the family thought it was too personal and bad blood to let someone own that. Its the same night of that photo of Chris and Stevie on what appears to be the last night of her solo tour.

I never saw the picture that disappeared. Did anybody save it? Or maybe even if no one saved it, if you looked at it, it might be retrievable in someone's cache.
