He posts every week in his FB, Instagram, Twitter... But just memories, old pictures, anniversary of some album. Never any notice of anything new.

Please reassure me, we all know why Lindsey's PR team are posting like this, don't we? His team use their weekly drop across his socials, on old pictures and clips (including fan shot). The digital footage is clearly shot from an interview designed for splicing and posting sporadically to appear like Lindsey has been doing this recently.

He is in the studio, we know this.
Janet Robin has said she spoke to Lindsey recently, that he had long covid and that set him back. She also noted that Lindsey wants to record this new album on tape. Which if true...is huge for Lindsey.

His team and he has a team, are an arm of his management agency. A young label where Lindsey is the legacy act on their roster. Before Lindsey was with this agency he was with Azoff. Following Seeds We Sow which Lindsey self released, he had no social media presence until he was on twitter himself answering questions. Following his firing, his new management team have obviously realised that they need to keep his name in front of people's minds for when he eventually releases a new album. He won't need to reintroduce himself to a social media audience, he already has a network of followers.

I don't think anything is particularly interesting, the short clips are great, but the images and clips are nothing we haven't seen before. Just with an added layer of BS, having a person in his PR team write some rote caption.

I see this as a positive. Lindsey is still on the label, still paying a team and they are still working the "market" for him. I think it's really going to come down to when Lindsey thinks the album is right. He doesn't like to rush, we know this.
and has he ever been wrong?

My big question is what is the tone/theme of this album going to be?
Is he going pop again, considering the success of LB?
Acoustic?
Will Mick and/or John play on the record?
His artistic comment on Christine and the end of FM, he hasn't written new lyrics since what, 2014/15?

I'm excited, even if he doesn't tour. I just want Lindsey to release records until he no longer wants to.

Well, I think for many of us Out of the Craddle is our favorite Lindsey solo album. And I've read comments about it came too late, music and sounds had changed in 1992, and general public hadn't heard from Lindsey since 1987, nor from a solo album since 1984.

I think if OOTC had been released in 1989, it wouldn't have been a rush, but only Lindsey knows that. Anyway, the fact of taking several years to release his next album, considering he announced in 1987 he can't continue within the band, I'd say that was a mistake. Specially for Reprise Records.

I'm not sure if I understand your point. I'm not discussing the need for new releases for popularity's sake, to sell more records, or that he is missing a 'window'. This is about Lindsey taking his time to complete albums to the most creative point that he wants to take them. If that means I wait, I wait! He has not released a dud solo record, and I'll argue to the end of my days defending that position.

And he (or his team) keeps posting just memories, but I did like this one.
