Awwww. Damn! I loved her!!! I was obsessed with her television show when it ran on Nick At Nite in my early teenage years. And later on when I was introduced to "Valley Of The Dolls".

Her autobiography is a great read. The poor gal went through so much as a child including molestation from her "stage parents", bipolar disorder and manic depression. But she fought her way out of it and managed to be quite an extraordinary role model of survival for others suffering from the same experiences.

I wonder if all the medications she took weakened her intestines.

prescription medicine is horrible especially long term.
