I saw that CNN documentary on the Eagles over the weekend. I had to record & watch Part II last night as I couldn't stay up until midnight on Sunday. I found it very interesting. It was put together well. I really never knew their history, never knew how close Glenn & Don really were. It really was sad watching it, watching Glenn talk & knowing that he isn't around anymore. I'm wondering how the band members (& his family, too) are doing, especially Joe. I mean, apparently he had an incentive to get off the booze & drugs, so he could re-join the band, but now, will they go on without Glen?

And I can't even imagine what Don is going through.

Well, when I saw the Joe Walsh was going to tour with Bad Company, I kind of figured that the Eagles were no more. I imagine the other members of the Eagles will find a creative outlet, too. Don can go out solo if he wants. I don't know about the others though.

Next to the mighty Mac, The Eagles are my 2nd favotie band.
I loved them back in the '70s (and still do). I had all of their albums. From the first time I ever heard it, New Kid In Town is by far my favorite Eagles tune. I am deeply saddened that we've lost Glenn Frey. Music has lost a great musician.
