Default spooky

Here's a sort-of Christmas message for Christine fans.

My older sister and I were in the car on the way to a mall the other day. On the car cd player "Friend" was playing when my sister, who recognized Christine's voice from her youth, said "Oh, she was always so talented." Then she paused and added, "Her voice is sort of spooky. I mean this as a complement. She sounds like a lonely voice in the wind."

I thought this was a cool way of hearing the music!

I always thought she had a very longing sort of voice. She always seems to be begging for something. I think as far as 'spooky' sounding, Butter Cookie is a good example. Also, I think her voice as being round in terms of shape and texture. I read a little blurb where Lindsey said the same thing, and mentioned that her voice was 'flutey'. I thought it was kind of cool he and I were on the same musical wavelength.

Last year, Christine herself described her voice as smoky, funny. Her voice is very unique. I don't believe anyone that I can of think of sounds anything at all like her.

"She sounds like a lonely voice in the wind." ....I also think think that is a very cool way to describe her.

Yes indeed, this "voice in the wind" stuff is dead on
