Default Stevie’s day off

Stevie has a couple of days off from touring over the weekend.
What could she do ?
Apart from dance around her kitchen.

Elton John is the Glastonbury headliner on Sunday….and rumours are he will bring on some surprise guests to duet with.

Harry Styles?…Kate Bush?…Brittany Spears?..
No it could be Stevie….

Nah more like Dua Lipa and Brandi Carlile..

He is on his last tour at the moment.
Which I’ve just checked has been Uber long !
But, Sunday will be the last time he performs in the UK.
So a poignant moment…I’m not a big Elton fan, but I can appreciate his decades of performing.

How can you miss THEM if they won't go away?

It's like beating a dead goat, when no one wants to retire...

... whatever happened to people ENJOYING being retired?

(They're addicted to the fame?)

..
Assuming she has already arrived at Louisville (her show is on tuesday), probably today she would go the Louisville Mega Cavern to enjoy the bike zip lines and challenge bridges.

That is if she is not camping at Jefferson Memorial Forest since yesterday, where she is probably zipping, swinging, and climbing through the trees.

No Stevie at Elton's Glastonbury show!

I wonder if she'll perform with Sheryl Crow at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony this year. Imagine if they did If You Ever Did Believe!!!

He has said goodbye yellow brick road, whereas the road from London to Glastonbury is more of a three-lane asphalt affair.

With 3-4 days between gigs, I would assume she flies home to her LA ocean view condo right after each show.

This new 75+ relaxed method of touring ensures that she doesn't stay out on the road for long periods of time. She's not promoting anything, there's no pressure to sell records. She flies to the gig the day before, sleeps in a hotel one night, puts on the wig and costume, sings to high-tech backing tracks, hangs out with friends, feels the love from the crowd, tells some cute stories, and then flies home.

It's the retired method of touring.

I dunno.... I'd bet she stays on the road on her off days, luxuriating in her presidential suite.
