From the person who worked on the Little Feat reissues recently:

Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, I am not involved in the Mac catalogue, but am hopeful there will be more live stuff in the future. The response to the Rumors set has been extremely positive.

It is obviously a remastered version.
The DeLuxe Monday Morning lacks the instrumental intro, and the guitar solo is totally different; it's more a Christine electric piano solo. The new version has a real guitar solo; I think it is another version than the previously released one.

Those excerpts were mislabeled. Sigh. “Gold Dust Woman” is the only excerpt from Inglewood 1977 released earlier — and even that may be from a different night of the three-night stand.

I hope Rhino can stay afloat with these boutique releases. Most of these things probably don’t sell more than 5,000 copies. Nobody really hears about them, to begin with. Certain bands probably trigger more interest, like Dylan or the Eagles, but I can’t believe that live material from Fleetwood Mac interests anyone beyond a few thousand. I wonder how much it costs Rhino to pull one of these live albums together. Costs include licensing (maybe?), mastering, and printing. Marketing is just a YouTube video — you never see a display ad in Rolling Stone or elsewhere.

Twenty-five dollars times 5,000 copies is . . . $125,000. I dunno. Seems really marginal. Are these labors of love? Maybe Rhino makes it all up in volume of releases with dozens of bands represented.

The Netherlands: #3 (from #11, in its 283rd week). For some reason, they combined the sales with the original album.

You may be right; I compared both GDW versions and they match up perfectly.

Some additional chart positions for ''Rumours Live''. Overall, they are very modest. In the US, the original ''Rumours'' album is at #34, which is probably bolstered by great streaming numbers.

France: #51
Spain: #80
US: #81

Fleetwood Mac’s from-the-vaults release Rumours: Live debuts at No. 4 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart (dated Sept. 23). It’s the highest debut on the list for the band in more than 20 years, since the act’s last full-length studio album, Say You Will, opened at No. 2 in May 2003

So it’s actually a top 5 album on the big chart? Wow! I hope Rhino is pleased.

No, it reached #81 on the Billboard 200. An album can perform very well on the album sales chart but not even appear on the Billboard 200. Lindsey Buckingham's eponymous album reached #13 on the Album Sales chart but didn't even reach the top 200 on the primary album chart.

Help an old man out. Is that because of no airplay?

Particularly beginning in 2018, Billboard began to place a greater emphasis on subscription streaming when factoring chart placements for the Billboard 200 album chart. Around that time, Billboard counted 1,250 streams as one album unit for paid subscription services and 3,750 streams as one album unit for free ad-supported streams. Fleetwood Mac is no slouch when it comes to streaming; several of their songs have been played several hundred million times, and "Dreams" has over a billion streams. However, the streaming numbers for Rumours Live were comparatively more modest.

As more people have moved on to streaming services, the practice of purchasing physical albums has somewhat gone by the wayside. That results in less competition, meaning that an album can perform well on the sales chart even if it only sells a few thousand copies. Given that Fleetwood Mac has several thousand fans who will buy literally anything the band throws at them, it's no surprise that Rumours Live charted relatively high despite only moving roughly 10,000 units. Meanwhile, the original Rumours album actually outperformed Rumours Live by over 40 spots, largely riding on its ridiculous streaming numbers.

That's lower than I might have expected for the UK. Rumours itself is on its mind-boggling 1010th week on the chart at #22. The 50 years- Don't Stop compilation is up to #7 after 252 weeks. I'm pleased that the casual fan might be hearing some of those 9 tracks from KH to HAHTF that are on the 3 disc edition for the first time, even if Why is absent. It annoys me that the final configuation of the band couldn't be bothered to record a single track for it, just for the sake of completeness. That says it all, really.
