Default 2023 Year-End Charts

Around late November, Billboard releases its year-end lists based on single and album chart performance. Just recently, some data came in for the United States, Canada, and the Global 200 chart, so I will share the Fleetwood Mac related information here. More information will be provided once the UK chart data is released.

Billboard Top 200
  • Rumours - #25
  • Greatest Hits - #135

Canadian Albums
  • Rumours - #31
https://www.billboard.com/charts/yea...nadian-albums/

Global 200
  • "Dreams" - #157

It's incredible how these songs still make charts. No wonder they sold their material for millions and millions.

Well as a fan I see Rumours doesn't need marketing to sell itself. It's like Eiffel Tower or The Great Wall, once you know it you admire it automatically.

And though I know those lists are not an absolute truth, it's interesting the compilation albums included this time. Old legends like Journey, Abba, CCR and the Mac still rock.

• 18 Elton John
• 33 Queen
• 36 Eminem
• 39 Creedence Clearwater Revival Featuring John Fogerty
• 64 2Pac
• 66 Bob Marley And The Wailers
• 79 Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers
• 87 Journey
• 96 Guns N’Roses
• 98 ABBA
• 114 Nickleback
• 121 Whitney Houston
• 132 Pitbull
• 135 Fleetwood Mac
• 145 Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band
• 151 Bon Jovi
• 155 Lynyrd Skynyrd
• 165 Daryl Hall John Oates
• 166 Zac Brown Band
• 180 Eagles
• 182 Elvis Presley
• 189 Foo Fighters
• 197 The Notorious B.I.G.

Thanks for posting! What a list. Surprised Eagles are so low.

In the UK, Rumours is the 5th highest selling vinyl of 2023. If Swiftys records are considered ‘new’ then Rumours is the highest selling legacy record.

Top 10 best-selling vinyl albums 2023

Taylor Swift - 1989 (Taylor's Version)
The Rolling Stones - Hackney Diamonds
Lana Del Rey - Did You Know There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd

I love Animals, too. They recently released Dark Side Live 1972 or 3. I listened to it and it's incredible. Live Wembley.

Yeah, I recently bought the Live Dark Side was really impressed with the quality and performance. I always liked The Wall and Animals better though. I got the Blu-ray audio of Animals and it's amazing. It has 2 audio mixes of the new remix and the uncompressed audio of the original 1977 recording. Also, it has some really cool graphics to watch while the music is playing. Totally worth the money.
