Default Did you ever notice...

That Only Over You is the only Fleetwood Mac album track released in the 1980s on which Christine has a sole writing credit?

Likewise, the song Behind The Mask is the only Fleetwood Mac studio album track released in the 90s on which she has a sole writing credit.

Side 2 Lindsey songs stay.
There is little consensus on this board but a few months ago with the least favorite Lindsey songs, Oh Diane was all over it (now that I said that the Oh Diane crowd will strike back).
On Mirage we get a country Stevie with That's Alright, a pop Stevie with Gypsy, a rock Stevie with Straight back. We need that angry Stevie to complete the circle. Smile at You was so needed on Mirage. Something has to go. Oh Diane for sure. For an extended Smile at you, Book of Love is the vice. Or maybe just maybe a re-recorded Oh Daddy would be nice

Of course you're right.

You're seemingly right about everything.

At least that's what you tell us.

And, not long after the release of the BuckinghamMcvie album, Stevie and Mick were completely $hamele$$..

Santa Claus knows who's naughty or nice. I know who's wrong or right. If it was not for me Little Lies would not have been a hit.

Everyone likes to think about me being naughty, but I'm nice, as long as you follow. Now won't you save me a place, or that's all for everyone.

I say replace the sonic and lyrical dread that is “Empire State” with a Stevie song.

Hmm Fernando was a decent sized hit in the states too though almost top ten. Maybe Oh Diane is more like Fleetwood Mac's Chiquitita?

Ha!
Let's be clear. NONE of the Mirage songs suck. They are all really good. But when you have better material Oh Diane needs left as a B side or left as a demo somewhere. You gotta make decisions. I do love when the band lip synced it to that dance club. King of Pops in England? I forget. They were so rich with songs and Lindsey got too many and Stevie got so few. I get it, Stevie just came off a #1 solo album and her space was limited

Come what may, Mr. SteveMac. But, that's not how we do it in LA.
