Towards the end of the Dance tour-- so late 1997, does that sound right? I think those pics are maybe late 80's....

Those pics are 80s? I, uhhhhh, thought she looked a little older in them. Probably because they're "home" pics, with no makeup, etc...
Pic #3 grosses me out, with Eddy hanging his face over the dish.

Hence the facelift a few years down the road...although i still think she looked very cute in those pics. She was nearing fifty then, while Ed was in his mid thirties.

Drooling kinda like a dog... only far less cute and lovable.

I'm sure she feels that way now. Beards are gross, IMO. Apologies to anyone that has one.

I'm glad you guys like these pictures. I wish I had more pictures of her at home, but I don't. I got them out of a cookbook called, "Rock 'n Roll Cuisine". Various rock stars contributed a recipe. Christine's recipe was for Mamma Maria's Portuguese Steaks. I guess Eddy's mother's name was Maria. The recipe is actually in Christine's own handwriting.

She was 45 at the time of these pictures and she does look her age. But, I still think she looks adorable. I LOVE the apron. Kiss The Cook... By the way, when I first saw the picture of Eddy with his face in the dish, I almost wanted her to shove his face right in it.

I remember seeing that book in a shop in Southampton years ago. It came with a warning that attempting the recipes might be harmful to your health! I'm sure they can't have meant Christine's!

with regards to how she looks - I think she looks fine. Better than the cover of In the Meantime (who IS that on the front cover by the way????)

Gail

They nearly airbrushed her face away on the cover of ITM.

Chris did note in her recipe that the only healthy thing about it was the salad you serve it with LOL.

I had a few thoughts about that little wooden hammer as well.

Remember that Broadway show, Sweeney Todd some years back? That's what came to mind when I saw that little hammer.

And that was completely unnecessary, in my opinion. I thinks she looks wonderful in her early 60's.

I agree - I was like WHOAAAAAA - she did not have that much plastic surgery But, then in the candids we saw later, she looked human again.

I LOVE Sweeney Todd. Possibly the best Broadway show ever. Angela Lansbury in Sweeney Todd cannot be topped!

Most definitely. Good plastic surgery, though.
