I have standards in my candy eating - and peeps falls short.

The main standard - it has to have chocolate- otherwise I'm just not terribly interested

My favorite Easter candy - Reese's Peanut Butter egg LOVE them...also

Cadbury cream and caramel eggs

Now - another question does anyone have like specific ways you eat these things?

I do...I have to eat all of the filling from the cadburry eggs and then I eat the chocolate - I've never eaten them any other way

First of all, I hate Peeps - they have a nasty aftertaste. Yuck. Deanna - have you tried sponge candy yet? They claim it's a local Western NY thing, I don't know if that's true. Very tasty!

I love Cadbury Cream eggs. But if they get old, the cream hardens into a thick gunk - I found that out last year. I was all excited, I had saved an egg for a month or so - never again...

And yes, I usually eat the filling, then the chocolate. I also eat things like M&Ms, Skittles, Sweet Tarts two at a time. Never big handfuls.

And every year Wegmans gets these sour gummy lips for Valentine's Day. LOVE them! They're not severely sour or coated with sugar like neon sour worms are. They're just nice & juicy & slightly sour & good.

That's exactly why I don't like them, it's the after taste. I think it's the food coloring. Otherwise they would be delicous because there is nothing wrong with a sugar coated marshmallow!

If you want to save a Cadbury egg freeze it. It sounds like you may have gotten a really old one because they should last longer than a month. I love those things, I savor them with small bites, I prefer the filling and chocolate to both be in my mouth at the same time. Ooey gooey greatness. I want I want!

I HATE ALL MARSHMALLOW FOOD PRODUCTS (except marshmallows go figure!)
Peeps and candy corn are the WORST and those dang Brachs white candies that look like the candy equivalent of fruitcake... GAG! I dont like raisins in anything except plain either. or nuts. they gotta be plain too! and coconut...its taken me half a lifetime to tolerate mounds or almond joy...

but on the plus side: I LOVE anything with caramel or rice crispie
but Im not much of a candy connoiseur, my faves are SOUR skittles, HOT tamales, Good & Plenty (or any black licorice) so there ya are.

I hate candy corn, too! What is the appeal of those things? I don't get see the appeal of black licorice, either, though.
