I could eat Mexican OR Chinese, every meal, for the rest of my life. Chinese is actually slightly ahead(and I mean just a cheap Chinese buffet!), but I love both!!!!
Today is a beautiful day in Nashville, so I'm going for a long drive, out to one of my new favorites, featured on Diners, Drive ins, and Dives.

I had the pulled pork BBQ last time, and it knocked my socks off, so I'll most likely have that again(although I'm thinking about the fried chicken....).
It's a foodspedition!

Does anyone else think that "bone in" chicken is disgusting? So I fired up the smoker today, and smoked some red pepper encrusted chicken. I usually never buy anything but boneless, but this was on sale, and the Food Network shows always INSIST that you need bone in chicken, because that's where the flavor is.....

So it was tasty, but as you get closer to the bone, I just think it's disgusting! I really felt like hurling, when I was down to the deep parts. Bleck.
I'll never buy bone in again, with the exception being wings for hot wings.

^^^^ Yes! Only boneless chicken for me. The reddish/pink close to the bone turns my stomach.

I'm currently eating some damn good Porridge in my back garden, soaking up the sunshine.

I baked a huge ham, and took it to a pitch-in dinner, a few nights ago. Ending up bringing home about half of it. Taking it to my aunt's house, for our dinner/playing cards night, tonight.
So,
Ham sandwiches, and I'm making a huge pot of french onion soup. Yummy!

Sunday = Roast dinner. Also lots of chocolate on the agenda today, inevitably followed by junk food remorse.
