Default Songbird Orchestral Version Nominated for 2023 Grammy

https://www.rhino.com/article/gratef...my-nominations Looks like the nomination is for the orchestral arranger rather than Chris herself, but it’s still pretty cool!

That is so cool even though the majority of us here never thought the arrangement fit the song. I hope he/she wins. Its a fine arrangement but does not do Songbird justice.

I hate the Grammy awards like all of these award shows. How Buckingham/McVie did not get nominated for best duo is a disgrace.

Further evidence of the bizarre!

One thing the orchestral version does do is showcase the vocal. I always loved the way she sang the song but when I heard this version I was gobsmacked by her voice. Not sure why I noticed it more, but I did.

I had the same sensation. Her vocal on the track is beautiful and really does stand out.
