not that i wasn't shaking my head at *other* things she said lol....but that part, i kind of got!

Thanks for sharing that perspective. It definitely makes more sense when I look at it from that viewpoint.

The article was disturbing on many levels. I choose not to follow Stevie down this rabbit hole.

She can try, but she can’t rewrite history. There are too many interviews spanning 50 years. With AI compiling and summarizing details on a massive scale this one article will be simply one drop in a very large pool of FM/SN data. Unless of course AI decides it is a Stevie Nicks fan; then this account will stand as the truth.

I will always love her music no matter which road she chooses in life. How she presents herself to the world is her choice. Her life has been strange and intense and wild. .

I feel sure that the Perfect family would have given something similar to John, Lindsey and Mick. It's a lovely gesture.

That said, saying Lindsey would have been mad for her to have a child with someone else is a new low. And let's be honest, we don't know if the world at large would have known she had an abortion, save for Henley telling the world. That's kind of disgusting too. The way she's rewriting the history of the band, and honestly the way she's being allowed to do it is the saddest of all.

She's nuts, truly truly nuts. Kids, don't do drugs
I never thought it would be possible for somebody 25 years sober to come across more nuts than they ever were at the height of their addictions.

Weird interview, not much talking. Mostly rehashing VH1 stuff with the same old pictures.

Agree.. the bottom teeth look.... uncared for. Which seems unlikely...so I wonder if she had veneers removed. Very gappy bottom teeth that don't appear very white at all....

And unbelievably slurry speech, which sounds like a very pronounced lisp... It's as if her tongue is swollen up after a dental appointment or something...you can actually sort of see it when she talks (and I don't mean I think she had an actual dental appointment before the interview LOL)

Most telling thing in the interview, which she said more than once, was like "I am very good storyteller" or "I tell very good stories" (I don't have access to the recording at the moment). Indeed....don't let the truth get in the way of a good story.

Something else I noticed... she does NOT seem to smile at ALL throughout the interview. Not with her mouth but also not with her EYES. She SAYS all the right things, but watch it with the sound off... and she does not ever look happy once; she looks cranky. Old Stevie used to have a sense of humor.

The Vampire's Wife would be a terrible name for an album. What is she thinking? Also, I'm sure the duets she is thinking of doing will include Harry Styles and Taylor Swift because Stevie is about as deep as raindrop.

Sounds like she's projecting to me considering Lindsey did have children.

You're right! I don't know why she doesn't, just, replace her top and bottom teeth with new, natural looking, implants.

There are a lot of credible implant dentists that would be able to do this in one day! Lord knows, she can afford it. It might give her the confidence she needs, to smile and feel happy.

Then, she can pronounce her 'S's' again! Maybe she's still smoking, just like Barbara used to.

I swear to God, she's so good at lying. I was seriously crying with her. Then I slapped myself. But, I truly believe Stevie loved Christine almost as much as herself. And she does believe they were best friends.

Cigs? I doubt it. She's pretty uptight and preachy about these... "If you smoke, please stop..." and a few years ago at some show/festival in the South where she essentially shamed the whole front section for someone smoking there, and it was "blowing right into her face."

The ganj? Why not, she lives in LA. My bets would be on vaping, if anything though, due to her precious health. And so, probably not even that. I do suspect she has a jar full of sugar-free, gluten-free all natural gummies though, somewhere. For when she's done with her yogurt and baby carrots. You know, 'just to go to sleep' or something equally ridiculous.

Perhaps a more fitting title would be The Picture of Dorian Gray. She does like her literary allusions.

Will was born in 1998. Fleetwood Mac didn’t reconvene in the studio for another three to four years.

Stevie to RollingStone in January 15:
For all of that – and a nasty confrontation when Buckingham left the band for a while in 1987 – Nicks never quite gave up on a possible future together until he had his first child in 1998. “Because we started out so young together, both Lindsey and I would always laughingly say – which we both knew was never going to happen – that, like, when we were 90, and everybody else was dead, maybe we would end up together in an old folks’ home, because of what we had gone through, just him and me, for a long, long, long time. So when his first child was coming, I think we were walking in an airport, and I said, "Well, I guess we’re never going to get to that old folks’ home.” And he’s like, "Yeah, I guess we never are." It was something that we said in kind of a poignant way.

This gave me a bit of hope when I read it. Sad.

Of course that won't happen, but it's not big deal anyway. When one is very young, it's common to say things like that. I've done it.
