Although you have to admit that “I Sing for the Things” was a whopper surprise, as were “Bella Donna” and “Wild Heart” on the earlier tour. Those three alone were enough to balance her credit column. But, yes, I am exhausted with all of her touring.

Between her solo records, FM songs, and b-sides/movie songs, Stevie has a wealth of material to draw from, but using the same setlist (mostly) is definitely keeping folks away. One would think she would WANT to sing something new. She could have chosen any songs from Bella Donna and the Wild Heart to add to her setlist that would have excited her fan base, but instead, she chose the one song from Rock a Little that most folks forget existed lol. Man, even the Other Side of the Mirror has some decent songs that she could have rocked live- Long Way to Go, Ooh My Love, even Doing the Best I Can would have been interesting. It’s about as slow as I Sing For the Things but a hell of a lot more interesting.

I don’t follow Stevie and her solo tours that much, as she is not going to tour the UK.
But from what folk are saying, her play list does not change too much..

Maybe that is to do with her age, or wanting to stay in her comfort zone, or maybe just plain laziness.
But it must be boring for an artist, does she change her way of singing these regular songs, or just the same rendition too.
I know they are her bread and butter but she is taking the mick a bit..
Even if I could, I would not go to one of her shows for the same old, same old.

I bet she's going to open for Billy Joel in Hyde Park in July. He hasn't announced his other opener yet. Only Daryl Hall.

When Petty played Hyde, Lumineers and Stevie opened.

Perfect post. Escape From Berlin is incredible.

Long Way To Go is just to good to be true. Yet it was on her 2019 Anthology!

I Sing for the Things is cute but it's just dull. Like The Second Time

One concert doesn’t make a tour, but yeah Hyde Park is a keen venue..
And Billy Joel is worth the ticket price…
I hope she does open for him..

I'm not really a Billy Joel fan, but I think he'll definitely have the Park rocking. I think it's been years since he's played London.

As an aside, Lindsey posted about the Tango In the Night anniversary and so many people wrote they love When I See You Again. Add it to the set Stevie!

I think WISYA should have been reworked years ago - all the way back to 2009. It could have been a great replacement or addition to Landslide/Big Love in the set.

I completely agree. It actually could have a lot of potential in a reworked live setting.

She couldn't hit the high notes in it anymore... and they aren't THAT high but... the "when I SEE YOU AGAIN" part....

Now that's sad. That's not high at all.

Yeah but to be fair her set solo and with FM is filled with 95% of notes she can’t hit anymore. It would need to be reworked but I think they could’ve done something to make that dog of a song palatable in a live setting.

Maybe if it replaced Landslide in her set and she used the Christine montage and more fake tears?

Stevie starts her Spring Tour tonight. Did anyone hear who was ill with COVID in the band?

Any chance of Twisted, If You Ever Did Believe, Rooms On Fire, 24 Karat Gold, or Angel?

Edit: Upsetting that there were no setlist changes. She had to start Sara again because she forgot where she was in the song.
