Default Christine on the 1984 Grammys

I found this classic footage of Christine and Bob Seger as presenters on the 1984 Grammys .

Watch it before it gets deleted .

Many thanks.
Love her, she's not a natural up there.
two great line ups- 1984 was such a good year.
I think Christine wanted Prince to win.

I posted this early last year but I do see it was removed from youtube. I remember watching this on TV when I was a kid. Stevie lost to Pat Benatar for best rock female for both the grammys and American Music Awards (I believe). I felt Stevie was robbed and I was so mad that Stevie was not nominated and introduced by Christine for this category. It would have been so cool especially since in 1984 Stevie and Chris were distant and did not see eachother.
When I first saw this I remember thinking how well Bob and Chris's voice go together. They both have husky good voices. I thought they should sing together sometime. Christine looks wonderful in her blue dress.

I remember Chris&Mick presented an award, too. Can´t remember the year, probably late 80s.

Thanks this is probably your footage .I found it on a YT 1980's TV channel.I would not mind hearing a Chris -Bob duet.

Yes I was pissed over Pat getting the award.I do like her tunes though.

Me too.If we are lucky it could pop up somewhere like these did.

I do have Mick's appearance with Debra Allen the same year on the 19th ACM country music awards here. What a height difference between them two .I think Debra is Stevie's height.

Please note. For some reason the embedded YT codes are not working on here anymore.

Christine had some bad 80s hair in 1984. It looked so much better during Tango.

I agree only in 1984 though. Her hair in the Got A Hold on Me video is pretty bad and makes her look old. Her hair looks so much better here.
I think Lindsey had worse hair in 1984 that made his head look big.
Stevie had bad 80's hair from 1986 to 1989

Christine had good hair during Tusk and Mirage especially the Hold Me video. Then in the mid 80s it was a teased hair sprayed 80s thing, but then it got better during Tango. Seven Wonders music video, for example, Christine looked great in that video.

It’s 2020 and I just rewatched this footage. Christine looked great in that dress and those boots!

I just rewatched this too. Everyone is so young LOL. These were the days they had a full orchestra play the music instead of just piping in the actual song of the winner.
I remember thinking it would be interesting if Chris and Bob presented for best female rock performer because Stevie was nominated. I cant recall seeing her that night but the camera did show Stevie a few times during the American Music Awards that year.
When I watched this in real time, I thought Chris and Bob looked and sounded so good together and their voices are husky and I thought they would sing together pretty good.

This clip also reminded me how much I hated Michael Jackson. His childish arrogance on full display reminding everyone that his 7th award was a record. Humble enough?

Humility was never part of the Michael Jackson brand. It was pride, confidence, and yes—sometimes arrogance and even self-worship. It appeared to have worked! Compare him with either Christine or Bob Seger. They were moving in different worlds...

That makes it difficult to imagine that some people think of him as a narcissistic, crazed pedophile.
