that makes sense. i think when dates were originally rescheduled it was still early in pandemic so all dates were just pushed to july / august as a first step.

there is also a question of promoters for these tours that go through many states, and what they decide to do.

finally today the last 1 or 2 dates of the summer / postponed tour 2020 were cancelled.

it's bittersweet - i had tickets for the 2 shows, but asked for refunds already before the final cancellations because i wouldn't travel this summer and figured they would be cancelled or indefinitely postponed anyway.

let's hope for way better 2021 for live music and large crowd gatherings - and that Lindsey's 2021 tour is in support of the new album he's finishing instead of just a few dates that were originally supposed to be in spring 2019 to wrap up 2018 solo anthology tour. apparently those dates are jinxed so time to put them behind us and hope for new larger tour of the new album in 2021.

in the larger scheme of things, this time last year we didn't know whether Lindsey will ever even talk let alone perform and sing live on stage again. what we know now is long way forward from that time - and that's not even mentioning awesome collaboration with The Killers!

Okay, now he needs to release a song or two. If most of the present Fleetwood Mac can release a song and Mike Campbell can release a song, Lindsey should release one, too.

luckily he's now free and unbothered by any FM-related habits and narrow thinking, to do as he pleases.

i'm delighted to hear him on on alternative radio song #1 every time i get in my car, and it's so awesome to hear all different accolades The Killers praise on him as they are promoting their upcoming album and doing all kinds of online appearances, plus promising to have Lindsey appear at their live shows.

also, Lindsey was reportedly singing along other celebrities at several LA area online charity fundraisers last week. he seems to be keeping plenty busy, besides finishing the album!
