looking for acoustic guitar or country

(i am putting a post like this in a few forums...sorry for it seeming redundant...)

i am making a cd for someone and i am not sure if they like FM, but they do like country music and love acoustic guitar. i was wondering if anyone had any great quality demos they could post here (since we can't post released stuff) that i could put on the cd? you never know when you can hook someone new onto FM, lol! when they said they love acoustic guitar, of course i thought of Lindsey.

i have to make the cd tonight. it was a last minute idea i had in a package i need to mail tomorrow. thanks so much for any stuff you might want to share.

I have a lot of suggestions - it was the "country" that I heard in FM that drew me to become a fan. Real country music is what I grew up listening to. Unfortunately, I can't help you with any songs until tonight.

That reminds me I heard the demo if GDW from the remastered extended Rumours on Sirius the other day. I had fotgotten how awesome it is, I love what ended up on Rumours but this has a whole diff feel to it.

Wow, I've never heard that before! I must say though, that I prefer the steel guitar solo. That's just too busy. The 1/16th notes on the mandolin, take away from the relaxing vibe, of the rest of the song. If it doesn't fit, you must acquit!

Have you thought of also introducing your friend to the Mac via other artists? Patty Loveless did Silver Springs, The Dixie Chicks did Landslide, Lindsey did Crossroads with LBT and a version of GYOW with Carrie Underwood...
