When Fleetwood Mac was prepping for their 2013 tour, the original plan was to release two singles, namely "Sad Angel" and "Miss Fantasy", both of which were written by Buckingham and recorded by the full band around 2012. However, Nicks reportedly felt underutilized and felt self-conscious about not contributing any songs of her own, so she dug up an old demo she originally co-wrote with Buckingham prior to joining the band. The EP was fleshed out with "It Takes Time", a very sparse Buckingham ballad that lacks any guitars. Instead, the song is centered around the piano and voice, with very cheesy synth strings entering in on the chorus. Musically, the song is rather clunky and arguably unfit for a Fleetwood Mac release.
I don't think the original plan was to release two singles; it was to make an album.
Stevie said something about not wanting to record because her mother died. I think her mother died in December 2011. She went on tour in summer of 2012, premiered her In Your Dreams doc in the fall. At the end of 2012, she went to Lindsey's house to record three songs.
Lindsey desired for Stevie to contribute songs to the band's recording so she chose Without You because it was found on YouTube.
It Takes Time was probably put on the EP to actually make it an EP. Mick loves It Takes Time and believes it to be Lindsey's apology to Stevie.

I’d say yes to “Big Love” and “Family Man”. Mick and John are definitely playing on “Tango in the Night”—at least according to Mick in his first book. And it does sound like they are.

My guess is Mick provided the drum beats that were probably looped in “Caroline.”

The Extended Play EP is available on YT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pG34ZycDMbw

If you don't know how to download from YouTube (it's relatively easy), I'm happy to post a link to the files.

What I didn't have the presence of mind to download, to my eternal regret, is the now-unavailable One Man Show live album.

If anyone wants to help me out, please post a download link or DM me. I am happy to reciprocate with a Lindsey radio broadcast from 1992 (San Luis Obispo, his actual first solo show – not Centerstage as he claimed), as well as the 12/15/20 video live stream he did during lockdown.

Indeed, he's the only one on the track. It's not as good a song, but it's like his "Songbird."

I wish he would play it at regular/original tempo.

I really liked how they reinterpreted it for the Say You Will Tour. Ever since it has gotten increasingly slower. When I saw LB in 2021, it was still a highlight of the show but at a few points you want to yell out to him to move that hand just a tad faster!

"Walk A Thin Line."

According to his 1993 interview with Paul Zollo in the book Songwriters On Songwriting, Lindsey plays the drums: "That was me on drums. Mick was appalled. He was appalled that these drums were going out and people would think that it's him (sic), because it offended the finer points of his sensibilities. And I understand that. I was really going for slop."

Maybe John's on it, but I doubt Christine is. May be all Lindsey.

From 0:47 to 0:52 (five seconds total) on "Never Going Back Again," there is a blend of voices that seems to include Stevie, Christine, or both.

But again, it's five seconds total.

I'd all but forgotten about EP.

The synth strings on "It Takes Time" weren't a good decision, but I appreciated the olive branch he was extending to Stevie. Such a shame she cost us that album.

Christine and Stevie sing on it. There’s footage of them doing so. Also, Christine helped him arrange the background vocal parts, of which there is also footage.
