Visually, that’s rather screwy.

Thoughts?

I saw this on her supposed twitter account last week. I suppose with the popularity of youtube they made a video. Its rather digital for my tastes. I think some real life images could have warmed it up a little. It looks like someone could have made this for free or paid someone a whopping $50 for the effort.

It's so "MEH" you shouldn't never use CAPS on the word, "MEH'.

Totally nuts. I have never once listened to Songbird and thought 'kissing hippos'.

The best that can be said is that it's a random stream of images that matches the equally random orchestration.

And the equally random songs picked to represent a legendary artist's work.

And the equally as random movie soundtrack selection on top of the equally as random edits of echo and percussion.

Remember when Nick's record company goofed and put the RAL Mirror Mirror version instead of the recent recorded Mirror Mirror rendition on the Street Angel single. Perhaps they also goofed and put the Ask Anybody orchestra mix on the Songbird song

Personally they should have embraced the hippo vision and played the song over the random Hungry Hungry Hippos commercial.

It looks like the weird graphics they played behind the band during the last tour.

Flying fish, peacocks, and amorous zebras is certainly how I always visualised Songbird.

Looks like they resurrected MC Escher and gave him an iPad and Procreate.

I was actually getting into this at the start--until that cheetah glides across the screen without moving its legs before suddenly becoming ambulant a few frames later.

I think of Edith Piaf on an empty stage. Isn't that weird???

I never realized Songbird was a beast fable. Oh dear.

Couldn’t they have done a professional montage of Christine through the years? Why has almost every choice that was made for this project been so bonkers?
