BTW, its called Rock N Roll. Rough edges are SUPPOSED to show.

Just imagine how tough a night Sharon has when she has no idea what verse Stevie will forget, start singing the chorus early or late and she has to spontaneously go along. And yes, I would say that to Bob Dylan.
I doubt Glenn would have wanted her in the band. Isn't Glenn the only one who didn't sleep with her?

Rock and Roll? Rough? So THAT'S WHY THEY SING WITH KARAOKE TRACKS!!!!

Well, $he's an IDIOT. What more can you say about that? And yes, I'd say that to Bob Dylan, too.

According to her, Glenn wasn't very nice to her, and basically accused her of seeing Don to further her career. Apparently those lovable Eagles weren't impressed with the success of the white FM album.

I hope they ate lots of crow after Rumours. Douchebags.

Unless you're going to talk about the many miles on the tusks of male rock stars, some of whom (Jimmy Page, Ted Nugent to name two) basically took underage teens and made them their sex slaves, Stevie's sex life is irrelevant.

Obvious to whom? The Eagles are slicker, more professional, more polished. But to my ears FM is far more exciting and satisfying.

As a business model, I think The Eagles clearly trump FM.

I think pre their 1980 breakup, Glenn seemed to be a childish DICK. I watched the first DVD of "the history"(for the 100th time) last night. I can't stand young Glenn. He's completely self absorbed. When they reconvened in 1994, he seemed to have mellowed and grown up.

I think you could say the same about Lindsey as well, though.

The person who mentioned Rumours above!

I mean REALLY, to have the number one selling album of an entire CENTURY? You can't give that to them?

Of course I’ll give you that hug. And you’re entitled to your opinion.

But there isn’t one Eagles lp (excepting their two Greatest Hits compilations) that I can listen to straight through without boredom being only intermittently abated by the occasional stand out track. Even when FM was a non-hits band in the early 70s, their albums possessed genuine character. And there is nothing in the Eagles catalog to match the inventive, creative statement of TUSK, nor the near-perfect balance of RUMOURS.

To paraphrase what Mick once said: When you think of Chicago or the Eagles, you think of cold professionals; When you think of the members of FM you think of individuals...
