Howard Stern praises Mike and Lindsey

On the show this week Howard was discussing reading Mike Campbell's book and how blown away he was with his life. Mike growing up in poverty and having such a cheap guitar and how music sort of saved his life. Then he discussed how Mike replaced Lindsey. Howard also praised Lindsey as being one of the best guitarists. He said the guitar parts Lindsey has on Mac songs are not easy and Mike could play them. If you listen you know Howard recently started playing guitar and is really into it these days. They frequently discuss guitar players.

Has anyone read Mike's book? It seems to have had a big impact on Howard. Now if only Howard could get Mike or Lindsey in the studio for an interview.

That would be amazing. Howard Stern is one of the greatest interviewers ever (imo). He has a true appreciation for his guests talent. His interviews of Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen (separately) stand out amongst the best of them ever conducted.
