Well, I emailed him 24 hours ago and still no reply. There's only 13 hours to go before the auction ends.
I agree with all of you....very high chance that this is a fake. I literally do think that this guy has taken a broken '68 B25 and signed it "Lindsey Buckingham" and is now trying to sell it as his. It's a good thing he didn't say "I will throw in the pick that Lindsey used on stage with this guitar for free".... |

That looks like Lindsey's signature. At one time you could read every letter in his name when he signed it. Probably in the earlier days when not as many people went after autographs, Lindsey took the time to sign his name clearly. Even during the OOTC tour phots that are signed, his signature is pretty clear. It is only relatively recently that "Lindsey Buckingham" appears something like "Ly B..g..m"!!!

Well, the auction ended, and he never emailed me his "picture of Lindsey signing the guitar"...which leads me to believe that there is a very high chance it was a fake.
