Checking old Christine threads, this one got my attention. No board anymore. No domain either.

Even Christine won't pay that much for it.

Mary Anne. Super nice, and a huge Christine fan. We exchanged some FM stuff through the mail.

I remember one of her great acquisitions was buying one of Christine's dresses she'd worn on stage.

I enjoyed that old Christine message board. It was really cool to be in a place with other fans who like Christine the best of all the band members.

I think I was a member of that website message board before I came over here. If that message board and website had remained active I probably wouldn't have bothered with the Ledge.

Anyone remember the old usenet group? I think it was alt.music.fleetwoodmac. That was a very good place to have actual discussions.

I think it's still a thing, although I don't believe any ISPs carry it for free, like they used to. Actually, someone posted a link to it a few months ago(or maybe it was just the archives?). I bookmarked it, but I'm not at that computer for another week. I'll try to remember to post the link here, when I'm back there.

Oh, wow! I did a double-take when I saw this thread that Mary Anne created.

I don't remember if I joined that Christine board or not. I DO recall posting on burnish and (briefly) on SevenWonders. I remember SW had some sort of
bizarre "Karma points" to award to people and a lot of drama, and I departed pretty quickly.

Thanks for posting this. I didn't post all that much to that usenet group, but I did post a review of the Peter Green & the Splinter Group show that I saw in Boston in 2000. Interesting to have a look at that again after all this time.

Yeah, when I first got a computer(around 1996), I discovered the FM group on Usenet. David, jbrownsjr, ChiliD, and Steve MacD were all on there. Usenet was kind of dying, and David asked me to come check out The Ledge(sorry David, I'm sure you regret that, now).
