Default Mick Fleetwood's memory lane

As a testament to what Mick Fleetwood values most during Fleetwood Mac's 50-year existence, he formed the "Mick Fleetwood Blues Band" to commemorate the three-year Peter Green period. Whenever he wants to relive those best moments of his life as a musician, he gets the band together and drums away, eyes closed, back to the memories.

Default Duster Bennett and Peter Green

Duster Bennett was one of Peter Green's best blues buddies and both were influenced by each other. Bennett was active in and around London, and on his well-received debut album Smiling Like I'm Happy in 1968, he performed mostly as a one-man band, playing bass drum, harmonica and a 1952 Gibson Les Paul Gold Top guitar that he had received from Peter Green. Bennett was popular in local blues clubs until his accidental death in 1976.

Peter Green:

"Duster Bennett is one he is great. He makes up his songs as he goes along He may take someone else's song and the first couple of lines may be from the original version but the rest is all his."

Default B.B King vs. Peter Green

B.B. King was undoubtedly Peter Green's greatest musical role model. Peter Green performed King's 1968 song "Worried Dreem" in his live concerts that same year in a "stripped down" much longer version, but also with just as much emotional intensity as King.

Here are the performances of both for comparison.

I did monitors for B.B. King in November of 2007, and it was an awesome show. His playing was still great, and he was such a nice gentleman. He thanked me on mic to the crowd! A night I'll never forget.

Default AI-Peter Green is coming

This isn't very far off what Fleetwood Mac sounded like when it was Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac in the 60s. Now that AI music creators have clearly discovered Peter Green, it's not far off that Peter Green will be singing new music in his own voice.

Default God will allow it

Believe it or not, it won't be long before the voice and singing style of any soloist can be copied and completely new, completely authentic-sounding music can be produced. Would it be a great crime to bring Peter Green's best days' expertise to life through new music? It will become possible as soon as the music owners of each star allow it. The production of world stars during their lifetime is sold for hundreds of millions, but it is a bit unclear whether anyone can own the singing voice and style of a deceased star? This is the only thing that is still holding back Peter Green's new emergence as a performer of new music.

Nothing can stop new music from being created in a music genre, for example blues, with the help of artificial intelligence. It is only a short distance from now that an unrecognizable performer will be replaced by, for example, a clearly recognizable Peter Green.

I'm not sure if I am understandig correctly. What do you mean with copying voice and singing style with AI? And with bringing someone's expertise to life? I mean AI usually add something different to videos cause since it is "intelligence" it creates something from its "mind". I've not seen any video where the image was exactly like the person they are reproducing. For example I watched that fake video of Paul singing to Phil Collins at the hospitaly and I knew from the beginning it was created with AI. But I agree that in the future we won't know.

So from what I read, I imagine hearing, for example, Christine McVie singing a new song written by Ed Sheeran, or Glenn Frey a new one by Bruno Mars. I wonder if they would agree from heaven. Probably not, but if they did, we'll never know if they would sing it the way the AI generated it. And that's why I wouldn't like that to happen. I did like those duet songs like Natalie Cole with his father, or Andrea Bocelli with Edith Piaf. But new things with computer-generated voices, no. That would be too far, I wouldn't like it.

And to answer whether it would be a crime, first of all laws must be decreed. Laws created by men, so men will allow it, or not. Not God. IMHO.

Default Simple answer

Rock and blues created with the help of artificial intelligence are already a fact and exist. The blues genre has its own great websites.

Next are the performers created with the help of artificial intelligence in these music genres. With the help of artificial intelligence, we can create such good performers that they will have their own fan base, for example on YouTube.

With the help of artificial intelligence, we can also copy the voice of any singer with uncanny accuracy. Why not create a performer who sings like Peter Green in his prime, but for legal reasons goes by the name Pierre Vert?

Although currently, blues created with the help of artificial intelligence seems "too perfect" and is as such more boring than a real human performance, it will definitely develop and the performer created with the help of artificial intelligence will gain more "personality" and the sky is the limit for this development, just like for a real performing human artist.

Default John Lennon's Peter Green moment

John Lennon was a fan of Peter Green's work, particularly his quiet singing style and the music of early Fleetwood Mac. During the filming of the Get Back documentary, Lennon excitedly discussed seeing Fleetwood Mac on TV, praising Green's vocals and calling them "so sweet" and "better than Canned Heat". This admiration led Lennon to use Fleetwood Mac's song "Albatross" as an inspiration for The Beatles' song "Sun King".
