I'm not shocked, Im elated! Landslide was overplayed; it needed a rest. The set list doesn't suffer for it -- it allows for a breath of fresh air.

It needs to go on a PERMANENT VACATION! Glad to see it go!

But EIGHT new songs from IYD! That's very un-Stevielike!

One the second to last night of the WWD tour, Stevie performed every song from Bella Donna except Kind Of Woman and The Highwayman, along with Gold and Braid and Blue Lamp.

It's either un-Stevie, or Stevie-original-recipe.

The difference there is that Stevie didn't have a wealth of songs from her solo career back when she did the WWD tour. There were her Fleetwood Mac songs and her Bella Donna songs and a couple of soundtracks she could draw from. She HAD to put out what would nowadays be considered a bold set.

Now that she has six studio records on her own and a boatload of material with Fleetwood Mac, even songs she didn't have back then, she has played it much safer. Even her TISL tour didn't have EIGHT new songs. That was the anomaly until tonight.

At that early point in time her solo career, aside from her Fleetwood Mac songs, her Bella Donna songs were the entire extent of her solo catalog! "I Need to Know" was her first cover song.

Fumidesigns, Truefaith and I are sitting here reading the setlist line by line and three of us are contemplating whether we should jump from the Brooklyn Bridge or the Manhattan Bridge.
