Soldier's Angel is so dark... Annabel Lee is perfect (and I hated the demo), Wide Sargasso Sea is CRAZY!

[mezzoforte]

Moonlight is so beautiful I can't even handle it. Or form coherent thoughts.

GAH my lunch break is over and I've only had, like 20 minutes. Not enough time! I will be dying all through class.

[mezzoforte]

I haven't heard much about YMBTO, but I'm really liking it. In fact, I'm liking all of them.

Why, oh why did they choose to release CTF and SL early? Those two, along with AL are the weakest tracks IMO.

Just finished listening to every song-one word-AMAZING! I loved every song on this album, which I cannot say has ever happened. This is her masterpiece, I truly believe. Moonlight, gave me chills all over and the tears just flowed for Italian Summer. Her emotions clearly came through on many of these songs. So many songs to favorite: New Orleans, Moonlight, Annabell Lee, Sodiers Angel, Everybody Loves You, You May Be The One, Italian Summer these stand out as faves upon first listen. Although after listening many times, will probably love more as faves. I agree with previous comments that Secret Love is not at all the strongest of this lineup. In Your Dreams totally ROCKS!

Totally agree!

Holy crap. I just literally crapped my pants!

I do NOT understand, how Something as Crap-tastic as Twilight could have inspired her to finally, after 30 years, finish Lady From the Mountain and turn it into something as GREAT as Moonlight. I mean... wow. WOW! I think this is the first and ONLY good thing to happen (at least in my life) as a result of the whole Twilight craze.

Listening in my office. This album is AMAZING. Loving Wide Sargasso Sea. In Your Dreams was so awesome...this is phenomenal! I AM SO HAPPY!

[used karma]

I need this on my ipod!

I still can't believe RS only gave it 3.5 stars. UGGG, actually I can. They suck.

I really like Annabel Lee. I didn't say much about it because I can't think of anything. It isn't radically different from the demo - it's just a cleaned up, fully produced version.

I thought Moonlight would have the basic melody of LFTM and a few of the lyrics, but she just took LFTM and added a chorus and a bridge. For all intents & purposes, it *is* Lady from the Mountains.

So happy I checked in at lunch. I'm about 2 mins into For What It's Worth so far. I know what I'll be listening to for the rest of my work day.

OMG..can't believe we are sitting her listening to THE album.

What an unbelievably exciting day for all of us! Just finished listening to the album and I had chills EVERY song. This is the first album that I absolutely adore every single song. This is beyond what I expected. I LOVE how much variation there is with the songs...LOVE the sequencing of Moonlight into Annabel Lee. LOVE LOVE LOVE Stevie's voice building at the end of Italian Summer...AHHH!!!

Moonlight is absoultely phenomenal!!!

I listened to it with headphones on, and I have to say I LOVE her vocal the whole way through. At the beginning she sounds so fragile, but the second chorus is what really got to me. It reminds me of the sound of her voice at a live show. I really think Dave did an excellent job of capturing Stevie in all aspects, especially vocals.

this album is soo good, I'm going to have a new favorite every week, still discovering things I like after months of listening
