I'm glad to see FM is coming to the land down under.I wish I can come,I hope some audio and vid's get done to share with us.I know this is far fetched ,maybe Stevie will give us a little holiday gift around the dates in late December with a surprize of singing Silent Night at the close of the concert.

A password? No. Preferred Seating doesn’t require a password, and you just have to register as a member with Ticketek in order to book anything there, including presales.

The thing that personally bothers me most about the Preferred Seating tickets is that they don't tell you where exactly they are. A Reserve tickets at shows here in Brisbane, for example, often range from the very front row to the very back at the floor. They're generally all fine seats, but it depends on what exactly you're looking for.

Although seating arrangements vary from show to show at the same venue, maybe have a look around on Ticketek/Ticketmaster for some similar shows (ie, all seated, but no weird love seats like Britney Spears) currently on sale for the venue you intend to go to to get an idea about where A Reserve might be. Given that Preferred Seating is also selling Rows 1 to 5 for higher prices, I imagine that tickets purchased through them listed as A Reserve will not be in the first 5 rows. On the other hand, I would imagine (though I'm not certain) that a handful of these seats will be available to the general public at regular prices through Ticketek.

My personal experience with Ticketek pre-sales has also been great in that I've come away with what I was after and sometimes a bit better (4th row for The Who ). I think your chances of getting an A Reserve ticket in the pre-sale (or even the general on-sale) would be quite good. Whether it will be a better A Reserve than one you buy through Preferred Seating though is hard to tell.

So, I suspect that actually wasn't much help to you at all. Sorry! I've never had so many ticket-buying options before, so I can certainly understand your predicament.

Good luck with whatever you decide, and I hope you have a blast. My first concert was Rod Stewart so I think you're off to a far better start than me .
Thanks heaps, i still not sure what i'm doing yet, i just wish they would release the seating plan so then you could specify exactly where you wanted to sit!

Default Sunday Mail article

Hey guys

Attached are scans of an FM article from last weekend's (Sunday 23 August 2009) Sunday Mail entertainment liftout.

It features a phone interview with Mick and is written by a journo friend of mine (who I should acknowledge that I met through the Ledgie Formerly Known as Lux).

I don't intend to go to the concerts this time (it couldn't possibly top last time) but I'm excited for the other Aussie fans and thankful that the band decided to tour here.

Thank you so much for the scans.

He thinks Stevie and Lindsey have a lot of "bandwidth." Ok, Mick.

Hey Sharon (sigs are disabled but that's your name as I recall?!)

Yes, now I'm one of those lame fans that starts posting again only when a tour is on etc. In this age of Twitter and FB status updates it seems bizarre to be posting here at the ol Ledge - how the internet has changed!

(edit)
lol I just saw that my location is set as Japan. It hasn't been for 2.5 years! And yet it will be again from next year, albeit Tokyo instead of Matsuyama. I think I'll leave it as a 'time capsule' memento of my active fandom era.

My oh my.. well i' a bit behind, haven't researched and researched this time. I want good seats, though compared to their last concert in Aus and Stevie's solo, i won't be paying the amount i did for them last time. However.. may find out the premium for the good seats in the first few rows middle.

Is it true that no one can get seats before September 2nd??

Haha, Aussiewithheart, what state are you in? It'd be weird if you were in Brisbane and at the same show as me. I'm in row 3/4 as well. WOO HOO!

Grace have you booked tickets through preferred seating before??, this is my first time, its lousy how they dont tell you where your seats are till you receive them in the mail 2 weeks before. I hope I dont end up with a seat on the side of the stage, anyway it will be an awesome concert where ever I end up!! might see you there WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!

This appeared in the TV guide of The West Australian (our state newspaper) today. Usual lightweight stuff, typical Stevie crap about Lindsey.

Yeah but that crap sells tickets like mad , and they've been smart enough to cash in on it for decades.

I've never seen that picture on the first page, with Stevie at the mic --- it's one of the most beautiful pictures of her I've ever seen. Is it from the Unleashed tour?

Everybody remembers you, Joe. You're the guy who convinced Lindsey to add I Know I'm Not Wrong to the last big Fleetwood Mac tour.
