I can't imagine Stevie performing two shows in one evening. That's just me, though. 10:00 does seem late for a full 90 minute show, but they scheduled it at that time for a reason. Maybe she is doing two shows....I just hope they are not condensed.

Don't shows have to be over and done by 11pm? I thought that was a rule at the palace? Maybe I'm wrong and thinking of something else.

You're probably right about that. A 10pm start time seems a little late for a regular concert. No reason for it to start that late unless there's something going on beforehand.

I guess the good thing is that if she is doing some kind of private mini-concert before the show, then she should be well warmed up by the time she gets to us..

Jana has "private shows" booked from Novemeber through New Years.

Question:

Are these shows with Stevie or is it her and her solo gig?

Is Decemeber 8th just a Jana private gig that she scheduled 'cause she would be in Vegas with Stevie?

Or is Stevie doing two shows that day?

Maybe if we all ask her these questions at the "Ask Jana" page, we can get to the bottom of this.

Regardless, to announce an event and have tickets go on sale a few hours later is just ridiculous. They could have at least given the fans a day's notice and had them go on sale today. It'll be very interesting to see the NicksFix statement about all this.

Glad to hear it's official, though

I thought the same thing - that originally it was gonna be a private benefit show. I also agree that it may have something to do with the Soldier's Angel Foundation.

I also agree with you on the ridiculousness of it all. No notice whatsoever.

This just in...

So what the heck is the "Epicurean Charitable Foundation?" This is the only info I could find:

"The Epicurean Charitable Foundation of Las Vegas is a nonprofit association of Nevada hospitality executives formed to share knowledge and fellowship, provide educational opportunities and support the local community. The group annually funds college scholarships for deserving area high school senior students who wish to pursue a career as a hospitality industry professional."

So what is a "hospitality industry professional?" I hope that isn't what I think it is, even if it is legal in Nevada...

Okay, this is coming together. If you click the Epicurean Foundation's website, you see a "save the date" for what looks like a fundraising dinner on 12/8 at Caesar's. So Stevie is probably going to do a song or two at this event and then perform the full public show as an additional benefit.

http://www.epicureanclub.org/

Edit: never mind, Curtis has already posted the save the date.

That will solve the "where should we have dinner" problem. Hopefully they aren't serving shellfish though.

No, you're right. But I think that this being a benefit and all, they will probably bend the rules a little.

A body full of hives and an anaphylactic reaction would be worth it.

...Wait....maybe not.

Makes sense... Although Taku not being there doesn't make sense... She'll need a filler!
