I don't have the exact numbers (especially counting sects) but I would still classify 1 out of 6 as abberant, statistically.

abberant

1. Deviating from the proper or expected course.
2. Deviating from what is normal; untrue to type.

That does not support your argument that marriage should be only for procreation. I mean the cavemen were not married in any sense I can think of and we are here today as a result of that In the end, marriage has nothing to do with biological procreation, which was the foundation of your argument. Can marriage be a great way to raise kids. Sure it can. i do not think anyone is arguing against that.

No, you don't need to be married to have kids, but you have to be of the opposite sex.
The purpose of marriage was originally a financial and/or political purpose. At least christian marriage. Even native americans had to pay bride and husband prices. People can and do procreate just fine without marriage, so your argument is flawed.

I don't think 1 out of 6 is fair.

I am pretty sure throught history all religions have fought wars over territory, etc. - thus all are bad in that aspect. I could be wrong though as I do not know everything about all religions on the planet. But, I do know this, to this day, organized religion is still a ruling power and with that power comes bad acts. Thus, my point.

I just used it because you said "aren't there only 5-6 world religions?" It was just an example, although I believe the ratio probably is around that.

Me too, homework and errands. It's fun for a bit, though. At least I'm enjoying myself.

Well, it's acrylic, so it pretty much dries before the brush even makes it to the canvas. But you can if you want.
