The point was, is, and always will be that Ann Coulter attacked a man who lost three limbs in Vietnam while serving honorably - she viciously attacked him by distorting the truth. Why did she do this? Well, she wanted to take heat off of W, who went AWOL, and Cheney who had better things to do than serve his country. Is it that hard to see that?

I mean it does not rub you the wrong way that she belittled and demeaned a man who was serving in Vietnam honorably? This from the same woman who essentially says that any talk against the soldiers currently in the war is a horrible thing and unpatriotic. Come on - not even you are that blindly supportive

On edit - she did the same thing to Kerry. I mean Kerry volunteered to go to Nam and served honorably and was heavily decorated for it. Moreover, even if in some fantasyland Kerry's medals are not worth anything, which is utter cr*p to argue BTW - he at least went, which is more than W, Cheney or any other person save for Collin Powell did.
