That's what I thought too. So much for my Mrs. Robinson fantasy.

Her albums bore the hell outta me. However, I was drug to a concert to see her in Ventura once, by a lesbian of course, and she was one hell of a performer.

Further proof that with guys, bitown is usually a brief stop on the way to Homoville.

I thought all gay men had to love Liza? Liza with a Z!!!

All of my gay boyfriends (I have so many, you know ) like Madonna & Cher, but they aren't obsessed or anything. They all like Cyndi Lauper & Stevie & Tori too.

Hey - aren't you all supposed to love track lighting & be named Rick or Steve? {50 points to the first person to catch that one}

Diamondsnake is way too obsessed with Stevie's clothes & hair to be hetero. JK, Chris.

I like the Indigo Girls, but I'm straight. Closer To Fine is a great song, and the other night I was practically in tears watching part of their concert (it was on Logo ) They did a tune - I don't know the name of it - it was basically about the church & marriage. Very sad. They are incredible singer-songwriters.

Ani - eh. She's OK. I feel like I have to like her since she's from here & has her own label & does a lot for the community, but I'm just not that into her.

That's my opinion exactly. except not in Ventura. Very compelling live.

That's really impressive. And aren't you from Louisiana, too? See, it crossed my mind when I was a little younger than twelve, even, but every time it came into my mind I pushed it out fiercely. Everyone around me was saying it was horribly wrong and I really didn't want to be any more "different" than I already was. I didn't come out to myself and everyone else until I was 20.

Or else maybe you just don't know about the movie The Graduate?

I guess you wouldn't like Norah Jones, then, either.
