We picked New Orleans...cuz it's kinda the only central city that would be fun to hang out in.

Emmylou Harris' voice. I feel home when I hear her sing. Quite possibly the most beautiful voice I've ever heard.

The only thing is that my crush lives so far away from LA and I don't think she would be able to come.

I can't believe I forgot to list her. What a voice. It truly is breathtaking. I'm quite peeved that I didn't get the opportunity to see her and Elvis Costello this summer.

"J'ai Fait Tout" is my current favorite song, too.

Let's split it down the middle and go Pittsburgh/Washington, PA. I hear they have a great Ramada Inn.

God TOTALLY!!! The McGarrigle girls are great too! I've seen Emmylou twice and have been absolutely levelled both times.

The last time I saw her, I was on cloud nine leaving the venue. I went to wait for the train to take me home. When it pulled up, I got on and sat down in my seat still on cloud nine, then realized I had sat on gum! A lovely way to end my evening! But these events in life make for my catalogue of great stories. I audibly started laughing. **** like that happens to me ALL THE TIME! I may just have to start a dumb **** that's happened to you thread!

So Curtis didn't make out with a chick in the back of a cab? I didn't beleive the virgin part.

I forgot about your crush! Did you ever announce who it is? I think I know. You're right... she's a long way from L.A.
