Tango In The Night would sound awesome live, they would need to rework it a little to update the 80's vibe but it would be great... Trouble is, what do you replace to put it in? Either Come or I'm So Afraid and I wouldn't wanna lose either of those, Come at a push maybe..

Dissention, I think I'm So Afraid is Lindsey's Rhiannon, not Big Love. Only difference for me is I will never ever tire of listening to I'm So Afraid.

Or how about hauling out Storms and singing it with nice harmonies from Lindsey instead of Don't Stop? Inject some vitality into it.

ITA. Stevie needs to make an extra effort to give her performances that special quality they used to have . It's something she's lost in the past few years. As for spontaneity, I think drugs played a big role in loweing her inhibitions in the past. Stevie used to have a more open and genuine rapport with the audience that's lacking today. Before drugs were a normal thing I think she was driven by her ambition and the energy she got from learning how to control an audience. She poored her love and care into her performances and it was very obvious to people she loved making them happy. It was her #1 mission in life. Later, drugs and her personal turmoil fueled a lot of her emotional outpooring. Now, I'm not sure she genuinely feels the same way about performing and it shows. Stevie is much more guarded and rote than she used to be. I think she genuinely cares about what she does, but I don't think it means as much to HER as it once did. Now she's out there to make a living and if it makes people happy that's a bonus.


After the attitude makeover she needs to find classier looking outfits that fit her age, image, and also her physical limitations. The shoes and the longer dresses need to go. The guy who called the Reeboks, Frankenstein's gym shoes, was so right! They make her look like a refuge from a horror movie. She'd look less bogged down and her lack of movement wouldn't be noticeble if she wore classy yet sensible footwear. Stevie needs to get over the obession with her lack of stature. Forget the platforms. They make sexy shoes that aren't hard to move in. Cutting the dress higher on the leg and showing more skin on the arms and neckline would lighten the whole look and make her look taller and more energtic. All that material even in black makes her look bogged down. I'm not talking pasties and a g string. Just lower the neckline. No high necks and no long sleeves. Show some leg below the knee. Get a dress with a higher cut in the middle. Keep the length on the sides and the back. She'd look younger and less like Grandma Moses. Stevie has a tendancy to cover up if she's putting on weight. That's exactly the wrong thing to do. More clothing makes her look heavier.

I love ISA with a passion, but sometimes I'm just not in the mood for it. I never get sick of his often, but that's one that I have to be in the mood for. Too depressing sometimes.
