I hope their decision to channel the earlier, Tusk-era incarnation of The Dealer suggests that they likewise chose to channel the earlier, Mirage-era IYWML, rather than the awful SA-era recording.

It's too rockin' for that song, though. I'm thinking more along the lines of WHRRDFY... just with some additional lyrics and an updated chorus.

I bet Lady is either Knocking on Doors or Maker of Birds.

Is there going to be a CD release of 24 Karat Gold or will it only be sold on iTunes, like Extended Play was?

I Don't Care and Hard Advice, I suspect, are not songs she gleaned from YouTube, which brings me back to my original point of how really very interesting it is to ponder the songs she didn't choose, as opposed to the songs she did. Were there not enough choices from YouTube? Were too many of them songs that she wants to reserve, so to speak, for future projects - or perhaps many of them are completed as far as she is concerned, and waiting to be added to expanded albums, like Julia for Bella Donna?

Does anyone think she might do this again?

I'm going to compile a list of what *didn't* get picked.
Interesting speculations. All the songs you mention are worthy of release. Glad you gave credit to Love Don't Fail Me Now; a great song that sort of fell off our radar. Notice how she is still using vintage photos from years past, like she did for Crystal Visions? I expected current Stevie photos; I guess she likes living in the past.

I believe it was recorded in or around 1988.

Like I said before, I don't think he was trying to tell us anything. I think he was excited about the album & posted a picture of a sign that reminded him of Stevie. Plain and simple.

OK, so possibly stupid question: is the album cover a photoshopped old picture, or a photoshopped new picture? Either way, it's gorgeous, but I'm having difficulty pinning down when it was taken.
