I think your assumption is spot on, especially with the last two songs.

The only thing with dropping all 3 of those songs is the fact that they are such uptempo energizing songs. Second Hand News can work well after a slower paced spot in the set list to get the crowd pumped up again. If I had to drop one of those it would be Stand Back. I love the song but with all 3 of the Mac singers in the mix, the wealth of FM material, solo stuff IMO is not needed for this tour.

I agree with everything you stated. Yes, EOTW and SHN are very uptempo but I'm thinking what songs realistically can be dropped to add Chris's songs. Stand Back needs to go, like you said no need for solo stuff.

I'm sure Stand Back isn't going anywhere. It will be in a block of 3 really high energy songs leading to the first encore.

Let's hope they changes the arrangements on some of them.

Stand Back needs to go. Doesn't belong on this tour. It gives space of a FM track.

I've never been a fan of it in the set, but realistically, it's not going anywhere.

You know, if folks don't like Stand Back that's one thing. But I'm surprised how fussy people who otherwise like it can be about having it in the setlist. It's been a permanent fixture in their live shows for over a quarter century. It's a song written and sung by Stevie Nicks, just like GDW, Dreams, etc. The line between FM and solo is blurry to say the least. If you like the song, just enjoy it. Yes, she could make room for a deep cut like Angel by dropping it, but she could do the same thing by dropping Rhiannon.

It's not that I don't like SB and agree about the fine line between solo work and MAC. It's time to mix it up a bit and SB is the one to drop to make room for another MAC track. I would also be ok to say goodbye to Rhiannon. ( even though I know that will NEVER happen )

Unlike some of her solo songs Stand Back doesn't sound like it's a Fleetwood Mac song. I'm used to having it in the set list and I think it adds that boost of energy that the band appreciates. But the fact that Stevie wrote and performed it doesn't make it a Fleetwood Mac shoo-in for me. If it's incongruent for some people I can well understand that. To them it probably sounds more out of place then another Stevie song would. Michele

I could probably come up with something different each time I do this...not really my "dream" setlist, but one that I'd say is slightly realistic (and that I could live with):

MONDAY MORNING
SAY YOU LOVE ME
THE CHAIN
DREAMS
NEW SONG - LB
GOLD DUST WOMAN
LITTLE LIES
BROWN EYES
NEW SONG - SN
SARA
BIG LOVE
LANDSLIDE
YOU MAKE LOVING FUN
STAND BACK
THE LEDGE
STEAL YOUR HEART AWAY
NEW SONG - CM
SEVEN WONDERS
TUSK
I’M SO AFRAID
RHIANNON
DON’T STOP
WORLD TURNING
SISTERS OF THE MOON
GO YOUR OWN WAY
SONGBIRD

Now, if they wanted to go the whole "play the entire Rumours album" route, in order....
MONDAY MORNING
SAY YOU LOVE ME
ANGEL
NEW SONG - LB
RHIANNON
NEW SONG - SN
LITTLE LIES
TANGO IN THE NIGHT
BROWN EYES
NEW SONG - CM
SISTERS OF THE MOON
SECOND HAND NEWS
DREAMS
NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN
DON’T STOP
GO YOUR OWN WAY
SONGBIRD
THE CHAIN
YOU MAKE LOVING FUN
I DON’T WANT TO KNOW
OH DADDY
GOLD DUST WOMAN
TUSK
WORLD TURNING
CRYSTAL
SILVER SPRINGS

I would rather them not use backup singers at all, but they most likely will. They just at least better not use backup singers on: The Chain, the chorus of Gold Dust Woman, the chorus of Say You Love Me, and the chorus of Dreams. Did I miss any?

(Hold Me, if on the small chance they do this song, I only want to hear Christine and Lindsey and maybe Stevie can join in for the chorus.)

But they'll keep it because Stevie's FM upbeat numbers are limited...
