I feel so bad for Trump's wife. I was just watching the Post-Emmy show and Donald was being interviewed and he was talking about how "beautiful" his wife was and how they were going to go home and "make love". Meanwhile, his wife is just standing there being the perfect little trophy wife, while everyone talks about her as if she is not even there. Seriously, for several minutes Donald and the reporter went on and on about how good looking she is and how nice it must be for Trump to wake up to "her face every morning". I feel so bad for that poor girl. She's practically like a call girl. It is sad!!!

Not bad for an African-American chick.

Kyra - love her, but I'm not a big fan of short dresses at these things. A bit pale for her too.

Glenn - classy, classy, classy!

Star - I think I just peed my pants laughing.

It's been this way ever since he started dating her. I don't feel bad for her at all. She knew exactly what she was getting into. Someone asked her once if she thought that Donald would leave her when she got older and/or gained weight/lost her looks. She seemed to think this was inevitable. And she still married him. She made her bed, now she can lie in it. I guess she figures it's a trade off for having anything she wants in the world.

You've pretty much all said what I was thinking last night:

Marcia Cross - unbelievably stunning. That dress was gorgeous - she far outclassed all her co-stars (though, Felicity Huffman was a very close second!). Definitely takes the best dressed prize of the night.

Glenn Close - classic beauty

James Spader - just discovered last night how frickin cute this guy is (I know - I live under a rock, though). Totally yummy.

Zach Braff - always adorable.

The jokes were totally lame. The Idol spoof was pathetic!!! Why do they waste so much time with so much unfunniness? The only time I laughed was way at the end when the cast of Raymond did their bit. And the producer of Raymond's speech was great (I see this as the end of laughter).

Did anyone else find there were an inordinate number of camera shots on Charlize Theron? (Sorry if I spelled her name wrong)

Did you see his post-show media inquisition? I love me some Spader, but he was smoking something funny last night. It took him fifteen minutes to stammer out a sentence and he was just barely coherent. I was a bit chuffed with his answer to being asked what it's like to be a sex symbol, though: "I'm pleased."

He's awesome. He needs to win something before Scrubs goes off the air. And Sarah Chalke looked radiant, too.

Speaking of acceptances did you notice Blythe Danner ended hers with "Let's get our kids out of Iraq". I thought it was cool. She also said Keifer used to babysit Gwyneth!

Yes, I noticed that - very cool. I also liked Patricia Arquette's speech.

She was cute - didn't say much, but at the end she said something like "my prayers right now are with the hurricane victims, and my prayer for our troops is that you get back home safely" - something like that. And her rack was amazing. The bit of extra weight really suits her.
Hey, is there a pic anywhere in this thread of Sandra Oh's dress??? I saw the top part and it looked cute, but I'd like to see the whole thing.

There's a pic in here somewhere. She needs to eat. I love her, but she looks gross. Teri Hatcher has nothing on The Oh.

I disagree, she's naturally thin as far as I can tell. Though she studied ballet for many years. Anyway, I think she looks fine and naturally thin, but I'll check it out. Thanks.
Did everyone already say how lame it was that Everybody Loves Raymond won a bunch of stuff? And Shatner?? Please!!! (wait, did Shatner win? I forgot). I also thought James Spader shouldn't have won again, his competition was stiff, and all those other roles looked more difficult than his. Even though I love him.
innyways.
Oh, I was happy Huffman was the winning housewife!
