The list as it stands right now:
1. Siouxsie Sioux
2. Chrissie Hynde
3. Debbie Harry, esp. ca. 1975
4. Fiona Apple
5. Shirley Manson
6. Patti Smith
7. Grace Slick
8. Stevie Nicks
9. Gwen Stefani, both TragicKingdom!Gwen and ReturnOfSaturn!Gwen

All further submissions must be examined by either Kate or myself. Thank you and have a great day.

The fact that Martha Davis isn't on that list chaps my ass, but hey, it's your list.

Like I said. The official "I'LL KICK YOUR ASS, BITCH" image. Our ARCs aren't always going to choose beauty over braining folks, kthx.

That reminds me, we forgot Terri Nunn again. We need to get with the program.

Love her, but she shoplifted Debbie's act so badly that I want to throttle the bitch.

Tchhhhyeeeeeaaaaaaah, bout that.

You are hereby kicked out of the thread. :P Madonna is neither angsty, nor does she kick a measurable amount of ass.

I will say she had the required eyeliner in 1984.

I don't think we should have eyeliner as a pre-req. However, it should be moved into the "added bonus" category. And in order to REALLY be counted (ie +10000000 on the owning scale), must be raccoon'D to an extent.

[ryan8472]

Yeah right...

Ok, here's some more nominees:

Ann Wilson
Tina Turner (a must IMO)
Annie Lennox

Pwnt.

F*ck yes. All three kick ass. Tina should be in that list simply for her cover of Bowie's "1984," goddammit.

Well, we'll have to discuss that later, Le Gweggah. One of the signature characteristics of an ARC is her eyeliner. And her boots, prefferably not leather, if she's a true badass who likes to punch French cops at PETA protests, like Ms. Hynde. One thing at a time, though.
