I did try Karoke with a few other people from work one night. We sang "Feel Like a Woman" it was kind of fun ,too. I had people tell me that I sounded good and I looked like a real performer up there. LOL OK whatever.
I would never do it alone however.

I use to be in the choir in middle school but that was many years ago.
See, you're a natural performer! I've done that one with my girlfriends too, it's really fun. My friend Marcie is a great singer and it is fun to do her backup parts. It's much more fun to sing with pp than alone on stage.

There's no room in my current room to twirl Back in the day though when I lived with my parents and had a gigantic room I would turn down the lights, burn some incense, put on the Stevie, grab a shawl and go to town!!! Hehe, lalalalalalalalalaaaaa doo doooo...

I don't do the Stevie moves, but Dude...We should get together and karaoke a mean version of Stop Draggin' My Heart Around!

P.S. More on topic for this thread, earlier today I sang along to "Love In Store" and it actually sounded quite nice to me.

Oh, word. I ALWAYS have to dance around and stuff when I'm butchering Stevie songs, yo. I wouldn't have it any other way.

And hence why I only sing along when I'm home alone. God forbid someone walk in on me mid-twirl.

Remember what the doormouse said...FEED YOUR HEAD! FEED YOUR HEAD! FEED YOUR HEAD

**** It's funny, because I always sing this song in kareoke. I am ok I guess, I always get compliments and sometimes they light their lighters LOL ( I have sung this for kareoke for like 6 years)

I also like to sing Pat Benatar, Jewel, Fiona Apple...it's all in fun. I'm ok.
Not great...

Like four times - the last message going something like this "we really aren't stalking you" - in slurred tones Lord Child - and Sharon got a slurred call as well

That was the creepiest cab driver I have ever had. I thought he was gonna kidnap us or something. Can you say FREAK from HELL!!!!!!!

Good Times!!!!!!!

I get to be Stevie And after that, we can both go solo, with you on 'Love In Store, and me on Boys Of Summer

On a similar note, I really want to sing the song Sex (I'm A...) by Berlin, with this girl I like I don't think she'd agree to sing the lyrics though.

"Feel the fire, feel my love inside you it's so right
There's the sound and the smell of love in my mind
I'm a toy, come and play with me, say the word now
Wrap your legs around mine and ride me tonight

I'm a man - I'm a goddess
I'm a man - Well I'm a virgin
I'm a man - I'm a blue movie
I'm a man - I'm a bitch
I'm a man - I'm a geisha
I'm a man - I'm a little girl
And we make love together..."

On second thought, perhaps Stand Back would go over better with whomever may be watching this event. You can be Sharon
