Barnes and Noble online guarantees delivery in three days or less by UPS and it's free. I usually get stuff overnight.
You mean they didn't wrap the package in plastic and then leave it in the rain?

Thanks for the info about B&N.

You're welcome.

No, they didn't wrap it anything. I had ordered some John Waters DVDs and "Picture This: Debbie Harry and Blondie" by Mick Rock and I was furious. The DVDs were $80, the book was almost $40, and here's this asshole leaving it out in the rain. UPS sure got a mouthful, as did the doorman (who's no longer with us, thankfully).

I just got back from FYE. I bought Autoamerican instead of Curse . I love it though. I'll get Curse at Best Buy where it's cheaper. I also got a TH CD (Little Creatures).

Now playing: Europa

EUREKA, EUROPA! I have much love for Europa.

Based on the desire for total mobility and the serious physical pursuit of religious freedom, the auto drove mankind further than the wheel and, in remote areas even today, is forbidden as a device too suspect for human conveyance.

FYE is ridiculously expensive, ain't it? I was in there on Wednesday, I believe, and they wanted $35 for Bowie's Ziggy Stardust concert. I almost **** bricks sideways.

Honey, they wanted 20+ bucks for U2's Achtung Baby (which is over 10 years old!). I need to get that, but NO WAY am I spending that. Curse was 22 Their prices are so high it's a sin.

That's robbery. No one in their right mind would pay that much for a goddamned CD, how the hell do they stay in business?

It's the only Movie and Music store at the mall

Autoamerican and Little Creatures were 13.99 a piece though. Not too bad.

Heee. I paid $2.50 for Achtung Baby. Yay, used CDs. I did spend $24 for Curse, but it was an import.

Ah. There used to be a Suncoast that I used to go to in Connecticut (New Haven?) and they were pretty cheap. There used be a Media Play here, but they closed it. I guess if you want the good deals, you have to shop online now.

Barnes and Noble is another crappy one. They don't discount DVDs or CDs one iota and sell them at full retail price. That's a crime.

FYE wanted $36 for FM's Live album.

And I wanted it.

So I bought it.

I hate myself. -_- Stupid FYE.
