I haven't heard that in so long, but it was a favorite when i was young. Favorite, as in, I probably still know all the words....

It is good. We had to learn that song in music class in 6th grade.

Just got back from Tori in Boston, she was amazing. She covered Total Eclipse of the Heart, it was really great. She also covered Dream On by the boys from Boston because they took care of her little girl during a blackout in Detroit while on tour there.

I did not know Tori fans also rush the stage for the encore but they do. I had front section seats so I ran down too. Tori also covered Angie, very apropos given the presence of The Stones in the city tonight at Fenway.

Ooh, she did Total Eclipse of the Heart? Cool! I bet there will be some reviews of the show on TurbidBlue. Thanks for posting--glad you enjoyed the show! I'll be seeing her in Chicago on the 31st.

Yes, she intro'd the song by saying she promised a man that asked her at a show a few weeks or so back to do it. She said she would do it the following night since he was going to that show as well. But she chickened out. So she did it tonight saying he was in the audience.

Thanks for the tip re TuridBlue, I really want to check that out. Some songs I did not recognize. I really missed These Precious Things. But she did Winter and Tear in Your Hand and a couple other favs of mine.

She's amazing on that piano, I think Beethoven and Mozart would approve! One sassy part was where she played one piano behind her and put on lip gloss using a mirror on the piano in front of her. Then she played both of them at the same time. That's something.

They were kick ass and it was a great show. Also, before Ticketbastard fees it was only $35 and I was in row 11.

Also, today (8/22) is her 42nd birthday. Tonight she said it was her last night being 41. Honestly, of all of the songs she did, I think Total Eclipse moved me the most. Okay, I know it did, given the moisture that was around my eyes. "Turn around bright eyes."
