No crap, WTF was that about? I think he rocks, he's my second fave after Lindsey. I like his whole look too, different. I love his work on November Rain and the way they shot his solo from a helicopter for the video, so cool. And of course, those classic opening notes for Sweet Child o' Mine, and on and on...

I love that jacket, too. Suede is a BITCH to keep clean, though. The layers question, huh? At the time, I was getting clothing photoshoot advice from someone in the film industry- a costumer. However, in hindsight, the dress shirt was a bit too much. I guess it's just the Stevie in me.

My hair is still about the same, except it's now about 60% silver-gray. Scary to think- considering these pictures were only about a year and a half ago.

Oh - I like it. I LOVE the layered look. In fact I am in it in the ABBA pic.

Yup...and then in the bar at the Four Seasons. I pretended I didn't have my lighter, he lit my cigs, and bought our drinks. He loves Austin, he came to SXSW a couple years ago, searching for a VR singer. I was hoping they'd show some of that on their Inside Out episode (which is currently running on Vh1, try to see it!), but they didn't. Sweet, this is just how I would imagine him to be. My brother LOVES GnR and he anxiously anticipated VR, I am so amazed by how well they are doing. He would love to be able to meet Slash I'm sure. Perhaps I should try to figure out where they stay the next time they come to town and hang at the bar!

I did see most of that Inside Out special, gave me chills. They are like the Phoenix rising from the ashes.
