Dave mentions Stevie's "forthcoming album" in new Billboard article - Page 72

The record release party/dinner for TISL was in late January '01. I had everything (CD, artwork, etc.) in my hands before February 1. I'm not saying this as much to retroactively brag or whatever, but to try to rationalize the marketing plan.

My guess is coordinating the promotion for the obligatory summer shed tour, which we all know is coming in '11. Why release the thing on March 1 when you could release it late April/early May and roll the momentum into some healthy concert sales?

hmmm...to me it sounded like he was referring to his and Stevie's collaboration over the last year. Where do you sense the Fleetwood Mac hints?

He said it's a bombshell in music collaboration and a bombshell to the music industry as it stands. The world already knows about his collaboration with Stevie, it's even been published in Rolling Stone. It makes me think he might have just signed on to produce the Mac the way he's talking. Especially considering he's now worked with Stevie, Lindsey, and Mick on Stevie's new album. Perhaps the game changer in the industry is some sort of new label or way of promoting music he's come up with for the Mac? This is all best case dream scenarios, of course.

I wasn't really getting FM vibes from what he said, but I hope you're right!

At the very least, I'm really excited they're doing a documentary. And I really appreciate that Dave keeps us updated (even is he is a tease!)
