I resurrected the Butch thread in Chit Chat - presale and meet/greet packages go on sale tomorrow!

Thanks for the info, but I think I'm gonna go to FL for Halloween and the last show.

I do believe that Butch and Lindsey are playing the same night here in Atlanta. There is no choice for me but I would love to see Butch again.

CADreaming said everything else I was gonna say.

Sidebar - my other all-time favorite performer, Butch Walker, just announced his tour dates today. And once again, there is not ONE single city booked west of the Mississippi River. The closest show he's got to Texas is Nashville. Of course, it's the same weekend I'm seeing Dolly Parton here and Lindsey Buckingham in Houston. Instead of being a Bitter Betty and blaming his management for not scheduling his shows to suit ME and MY needs - I look at it as an opportunity for another adventure. Cleveland perhaps? I've never been there, and would love to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum.

Neti pot? Never even heard of one till I looked it up. She put her entire face down in a vaporizer years ago so I'm sure she's aware of similar techniques. I just want her to take care of herself on this tour.

LMAO!

And every time I use the Neti Pot I feel like I just waterboarded myself, but damn if it doesn't work.

I'm guessing the big-leather-don't-you-people-touch-my-soft-Steviehands-directly-gloves will make their return for the Edgewalk once the tour resumes.

Sorry for the fans of Indiana who got thrown down...again.

My dad has been telling me to get one and after hearing about it on here I am going to get one today. I've had this crud for over a week and I'm afraid if I keep coughing and hacking my man gonna leave me!

Neti Pot is AMAZING! It is literally like douching your face. You feel fresh and can breathe and smell, and it gets rid of all the dust and congestion in your sinuses. We should all pitch in and get Stevie a nice one

Heck yeah, I do. Stevie doesn't have to bust it out on every song of the set. She gets to rest on some songs and the solos.

I spit soda on this one! Lol!!! I use one too. I'm the sinus infection queen, and they help tremendously. About to go to the doctor in just a few minutes because I have a sinus infection right now! Haha!

she needs to do that more then. i'm sure they probably work her nerves lol, but she can't keep putting this strain on herself and then canceling dates. it's not good for her and not good for us.

maybe only smaller venues....

maybe, and i hate to say this, don't tour at all..........*dodges bullets*

I love her touring, but I kinda agree.

Maybe do 10-20 shows a year....here and there....and not bunched all together in a month. She could rest her voice and have longer setlists and a bigger crowd draw.

I hope she continues to tour--she does, after all, love to perform. She shouldn't work a schedule like this again, though. This has clearly been a huge strain on her immune system, and at her age, any viruses she picks up could become very serious, very quickly.
I'm sure spreading out a tour would be far more expensive and I obviously don't know the financial implications, but I hope her health will be top priority going forward. She probably shouldn't be performing two nights in a row, let alone three.

The last minute on the fly tour planning got to stop.If her people plan a tour normally
like other artists.Book a 6 months to a year ahead of time to get better nights like weekends and spread out the dates .This will make it better for Stevie and also the fans.

I don't understand why the people who hooked these shows crammed them all so closely...I don't care what age you are..this would be tiring...she's a legend...she shouldn't have to beat the pavement like a twenty year old....I mean she is like the field of dreams....let her play somewhere...and they will come!!!
